The man doesn’t speak as much as English as his wife but they are BOTH so unbelievable friendly! She learned my kids names and their orders and no matter how busy it is she takes the time to special make my sons frosting and sprinkles covered donuts! “We went to Donald's Donuts this past Monday. It was our first experience there and believe me we will be going back!! Everything was fantastic! “I would say that this is a hidden gem but it's really a gem that MANY people know and visit...just off the beaten path a little. It happens to be on our bike route, so we often stop then as well as anytime wifey and I head out of town. Very friendly "staff" (family) and always clean. Food is great (coffee good too). I'm a kolache person, so they have a good selection. Seating is adequate as well.“

“1st visit was a success. We tried the breakfast taco which was full of bacon ?, didn't have to go searching to make sure that they actually put it in there. And I've never had an apple fritter like this, lots of cinnamon and apples, crispy on the outside nice and soft inside just as it should be.“

“The owner is awesome, I went there today got 2 donuts and an orange juice and my total only came out to $3.98 when I mentioned how good a deal that was he said that he is always trying to keep the prices low for the community which is really refreshing to hear especially in this day n age when it seems like prices are only going up“

“I always get the sausage biscuit- the bread is a mix between donut and biscuit and so good. Fresh egg that I am lucky enough to get still warm as early as I go! Once they gave me a dozen donuts to bring to the nurses when my mom was in the hospital. I will continue to come here as long as they are open. The donuts are fantastic. I tried donuts/kolaches at 6 different places until I found this one - and it’s been my go-to ever since!“

“Amazing customer service! The Drive Thru associate was so nice and when I asked what kind of drinks they had she knew exactly what was in stock! Their croissant breakfast sandwiches are delicious, soft, flavorful, and filling when on the go. Their donuts are also soft and not too sweet as well; they last well if you don’t eat them immediately. Overall, friendly staff and great food!“

“I live in Ireland and I ordered doughnuts from Ashley’s through Uber Eats to be delivered to my dad (who lives in Clear Lake) for his 70th birthday! I mentioned in the order it was for a birthday and the very kind people at Ashley’s went above and beyond writing Happy Birthday messages on the package and even making a little handmade card! They threw in some extra doughnuts and even packaged one separately decorated with a birthday candle!! In these harder times Ashley’s has provided amazing service and made a birthday surprise feel extra special! Thank you and we will be sure to visit in person again when we can!!
