“We came across Koyo after I googled looking for sushi places in my area. I had never heard of Koyo before. This place is so good and the sushi is fresh. We ordered the scallop crudo and edamame to start. The crudo was so good I forgot to take photos of everything else. I was just too excited to eat everything. We had the 5 hand roll set, brown butter enoki mushroom, spicy tuna, and eel rolls. Everything was top notch. We also ordered the flight of 4 sauces. Our favorite were the chili oil crisp and the ponzu mayo. It’s bar seating only and I’m short, so the only thing I would change is adding a bar at the bottom of the chairs or bar to be able to rest feet. Food, atmosphere, service were all 10/10. My husband and I want to become regulars here. I’m so happy we have this option in our area now. We have only ever been able to eat at these types of restaurants in Houston.“

“We come here mainly for their udon and eel menu items. I've found that their other fish and crab plates are served much colder than I'd prefer. Their beef udon is delicious though and is as close to our favorite udon chain as we can get without going out of state to get it. The quality of the eel here is also great so we'd have no problem recommending the eel hand roll and both eel nigiri plates. Aside from that, service is always quick and friendly and the self pay checkout is extremely convenient.“

“Been here a couple of times and let me tell you guys that I have never been let down. The food is always amazing! The fish and other ingredients are very high quality and always taste so fresh. The owner, Chef Ruben, is highly skilled at what he does and offers the best customer service ever! Every time I come, I always feel welcomed as a long time friend. If you're ever in the area or need a quick pick-up, I would highly recommend this place. Being completely honest, I think I prefer this spot over an actually restaurant, it's so yummy!“

“The service was just a little slow for the amount of people there in the beginning. But after we placed our orders it was pretty fast. The original sushi taco was good but that sushi burrito was delicious 😋 👌. I would definitely go again to try other flavors of the sushi tacos. I did feel it was a but pricy but then I remembered it is sushi so that's to be expected.“

“Food is amazing, perfect temperature, ratio and seasoning. VERY fresh - you can tell they care about quality and taste. Very light and refreshing. Not overly breaded or seasoned. My daughter LOVED the sushi. For the price you honestly can’t beat the quality. Definitely will be coming frequently. Amazing service too - Kayla and Clair were very attentive and sweet even though it was super busy. They handled it with grace and kept amazing composure and with smiles.“

“I'm not very familiar with the area, but I found your restaurant and decided to try it. I was clueless about what to order, but Piper was there and helped me create my first bowl. It was a little expensive, but well worth it. There is ample parking, and the restaurant was very clean, even the restroom. I told my brother and sister about the place, and now they want to visit. “I ordered some sushi while my friend ordered the beef udon. I found the sushi amazing, but the udon had an odd taste and the beef was very over cooked. Our server though was very kind and welcoming and we appreciated his patience in explaining the menu.“

“Great place to eat. Good food, atmosphere and Especially Good Habatchi food preparation show. Been coming here since kids were small now they are all bringing their kids. This is a good location for casual dinning, datenight,family night, or special occasion. Great selection of drinks, including hot or chilled sake ,wine , etc, plus fountain drinks and teas. I highly recommend the Hibatchi meals ,the house salad and tempura vegetables. A great and friendly place for all occasions so I would gladly give this location solid 4 stars. Come enjoy the atmosphere the drinks and most of all enjoy the food.“

“Allow our 1st experience was not all that good, slow service, forgot drink order( girl who took order left without telling anyone my hot tea order). “I had the sweet and sour shrimp and veggie lo mein. By far and wide the best lo mein I have had in a while. Idyllic balance of noodles and veggies in my opinion. The S&S shrimp was a little overcooked, but the flavor was nice. We also indulged in a couple of the Boba infused smoothies. The boba was a little chewy for my liking (I have only previously had the types that burst and have liquid inside), it was like chewing a gummy bear. The smoothies were good, but I may have to hold the Boba next time. Overall, our little family impromptu picnic lunch was fun and filling.“
