“I am not sure why people are so upset with this store, unless they come during the rush hour and expect the little store that is not busy except during lunch or BMT graduations to be staffed like a store that is next to your local Target in a busy strip mall without a restricted access. I think people should appreciate that the store stays open and they have food options in this location.

I have never had to wait in the store as I always order ahead and give them 10-20 min to prep my food, which has always been well made and fresh. In fact, unlike the super busy stores, I've never had a bad salad at this location.

I would say give them a try without hesitation, give yourself a little extra time when ordering or order ahead, and enjoy good food.“

“Walking into Comfort Café, you immediately notice a diverse environment, but the profound ministry of second chances happening here is undeniable. “We have used The Board Couple several times and every single time they exceed our expectations. They are easy to work with, ensure quality of their products, are fully willing to work with you on what you want for your board, I cannot say enough positive things. We have used them for both holidays and game nights and there is always so much wonderful food that it lasts for the entire event. Everything they have put together for us has been stunning and our guests always ask for their information so they can also order from them. They are not only a wonderful business, but also wonderful and kind people. We had an unexpected death in the family and they worked tirelessly to help us reorganize our board delivery and set up with no complaints, they were more worried about us grieving than their time and energy! They were unbelievably sweet and we are so thankful. I can’t recommend them enough, truly, wonderful offerings and wonderful people!“

“Overall, I’d give La Cafe 4 out of 5 stars. The balsamic vinaigrette salad was excellent, and the fruit mousse desserts were very good, about 4 out of 5.

The biggest downside was the service. Dirty dishes stayed on our table throughout the meal, and we eventually had to stack them ourselves. I’m not sure if they were understaffed or if that’s their normal process, but having the table cleared during the meal would have made the experience much more enjoyable. Seating was also a little tight.

That said, I do appreciate the staff, and it’s worth visiting at least once. I just think the table service could definitely be improved.“

“I’m addicted to the jalapeño, cheese, sausage croissants (the large ones). Super delicious as is everything they have. Their foods are so much fresher and better than the Shipley’s which is pretty much next door. Far superior to Shipley’s. My only complaint is they aren’t open 7 days a week!“

“I rarely give 5's across the board but when they're deserved I gotta do it! First time going to Besitos and walking in I was already impressed by the decor and art adorning the walls. The ambience was amazing and it had a vibe I've never experienced at any other place. Service was excellent and the food was top tier. My friend had a chorizo and cheese omelette which came with avocado toast which was, to me anyway, pretty amazing. In all the places Ive eaten, avocado toast was never served as part of a plate. I had the tres leches pancake plate and saying it was good is a severe understatement. People...do not sleep on the tres leches pancakes! I had coffee with my meal which was served in this beautiful cup. Again, never experienced it before. It was a small detail that made a huge difference. Even the plates were these awesome Mexican style plates (Ill post photos). I can not say enough good things about Besito's or the people we met that day. I can't wait to go there for lunch! Stop in, relax, and immerse yourself in a cultural vibe you won't soon forget. (And treat yourself...buy a piece of art!)“

“I orders tacos with meat, my wife ordered breakfast tacos the meat one's were not very filling due to too much tortilla. But my wife's breakfast tacos were more appetizing. 6 tacos 2 cups of coffee. With admin fee for not using cash was about 33.00“

“My friend took me here last night and I’m so glad she did! She ordered the garlic noodles (absolutely amazing and definitely something I’ll order next time) with a mangonada drink. I forgot the actual name of it.
I ordered the kimchi fried rice (I wish it had some meat in it but it was so delicious nonetheless) and a Vietnamese iced coffee. We also ordered a ube cookie, which was so good, I wished I had gotten a second one lol I forgot to take pics of the food and drinks but I’ll for sure be coming back here!“

“I have been to a few of the scooters around San Antonio, by far this is the best one. I am a person that finds what I like and stick to it. I get the peanut butter cup blender and cinnamon roll. This location makes them the best out of all the locations I've been to. I don't know if they stick to the recipe or sprinkle a little bit more Love into the cup but my drink is thick and the cinnamon roll has better tasting frosting on top. I usually drive another 10 miles out of my way just to hit this location even though I have a scooters near my house.“

“Got breakfast here. They have a weird way of ordering food where you have to order at the golf store and then walk over to the Cafe. Food was overall what I expected, not a 5 star meal but decent enough. I noticed the staff really don't look like they want to be there.“

“We went to the bar called Be kind Rewind. It has 80's,90's and Y2K music. They have all the good video games like Mrs. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, DK Jr, Mario Bros and many more. They also have pinball machines as well. So for those of a certain age who remembers what good video games were. We loved and will be going back for sure.“
