Geoff at the Frisco Canes on Lebannon and 423 is literally a beacon of light in world full of darkness. His uplifting attitude, positive vibes, and impeccable choreography accompanied with an interpretive dance crafted only for the most worthy truly make every bite of canes tender, delicious chicken fingers that much more delectable. The all encompassing glow of his presence is something my husband and I look forward to during every excursion to this canes location. Every time we go through the drive through, we hold our breath and say a quite payer... all in hopes that Geoff is the one taking our card to pay. He is a remarkable man who makes our drive through excursions a thing of true majesty and pure enjoyment. If I were you, I’d keep him forever because honestly, I think the world might just explode into turmoil if he leaves. “First time trying GoldeN chik it was delicious affordable and way better than KFC, Favorite chicken spot so far the roasted chicken is seasoned all the way tru, and the rolls are delicious. And they have my favorite drink pepsi. Paid less than 15 dollars for 4 pieces of chicken 5 rolls side of gravy, mashed potatoes and large pepsi. Super cheap“

“Golden Chick’s location inside Walmart delivers a surprisingly polished experience for fast-casual dining. I ordered the Big Golden Combo with a side of mac and cheese, and the meal landed firmly in “worth it” territory—mostly.
The Big Golden Combo is the clear star. The chicken was expertly cooked: crisp on the outside, juicy inside, with no trace of grease fatigue. The signature sauce deserves special praise—rich, balanced, and bold without overpowering the chicken. Paired with the golden buns, which were notably soft, warm, and buttery, the sandwich felt intentional and well-executed rather than rushed fast food.
The mac and cheese, however, didn’t quite rise to the same standard. While serviceable, it lacked depth and creaminess and felt more like an afterthought than a standout side. It wasn’t bad—but it didn’t match the quality of the main offering.
Overall, Golden Chick proves it can deliver excellence even in a Walmart setting. If you’re here, order the Big Golden Combo without hesitation. Just don’t expect the mac and cheese to steal the spotlight.

“Took my son to a busy Chick-fil-A the other day and this awesome young lady named Addison made our stop a breeze. I got the spicy chicken sandwich meal (always hits the spot) while my boy stuck with his plain nuggets—no sauce, like the picky little guy he is.
She didn’t miss a beat, just laughed it off and hit us with a couple of clever jokes that had both of us cracking up. Got us taken care of quick and on our way. The place was hoppin’ but super clean, and the service was top-notch.

“There's a Golden Chick 1 minute from me, but due to there lack of good service, fresh food, and portions, I've chosen to drive 15 minutes away from my home to drive and dine at the Carrollton location. I'm so happy I found this location. The owner is very nice and constantly checks on his guests. I ordered the the 4-piece catfish combo and he gave me 6 pieces. Then, prior to finishing my meal, a team member came out with a basket of rolls, giving out free roles! I will always come to this store! Very grateful for their very kind service!“

Before setting up at Trainer Con, Mr. Pretzels felt like grabbing a quick held item inside a low-traffic mall Gym. Service came through with solid Trainer guidance, helping navigate the menu and unlocking the cinnamon pretzel bites option, a cleaner, bite-sized evolution of the classic sweet move. The bites delivered consistent damage with warm cinnamon flavor like a Flamethrower, and the cherry ICEE acted like a refreshing Ice Beam to round out the combo. Gym conditions were quiet (almost abandoned), which fits the quick-stop playstyle. Not a destination-worthy encounter, but a reliable in-mall pickup that gets the job done.“

“I cream treats are really good, but my favorite were the cheese curds. I was told to try them with caramel and powdered sugar, that they taste like funel cake. It will be next time because I'm going there again and again for treats. I might try the burgers then.

My mom gets her daily tea from here, but she recently had knee surgery and can't drive. Team member Cathy hand-delivered a tea to her house two weeks in a row. The service here is above and beyond!“

I had asked his name and he said it was Hayden. This young man deserves more recognition for the hard work he puts in. This being my first time at a raising canes I didn't know what to expect, but, it certainly wasn't restaurant type waitering. And another thing, the food was amazing. “Original post: Food was not hot on delivery, only just still warm, and not as good as other Sonics I have been to. Strange taste to my limeade like soap residue or something like that. Onion rings over fried to super dark and leather like onion. Lettuce on burger tasted strange too similar to soapy taste from limeade. Payment feature from screen where I ordered was not functional. Disappointed in this Sonic location.
Updated review: after I posted the review above, I was contacted by the GM who offered to re-make my order at my convenience and I took him up on that offer today. The Manager on duty was GREAT and remembered the GM talking about my experience to the crew. She personally took my order and delivered my food piping hot and waited to make sure there was no issue with my order. Fantastic management was absolutely demonstrated in their handling of my prior experience at their location.“
