“It was very good all around. I quit going to this location several years ago because of service and food but they have definitely improved. However while my chicken enchiladas were great my son in law said the meat on his Tacos was burned.😊 My husband had beef fajitas and the meat was also burned along with his flour tortillas. So I guess go with the Chicken not the Beef!

“We had the best experience this weekend at Bonnell’s. Long story short we don’t go out to eat because my son has a lot of food allergies and it’s not easy to accommodate them. However it was his 13th birthday so we really wanted to celebrate. The chef worked with me prior to coming in and made sure my kiddo was able to have a wonderful and safe meal to celebrate a huge milestone. All of the staff were sweet and thoughtful as well. “I came in at 6:15 PM on graduation weekend and was shocked to find a place completely empty. There was one other customer. Naturally, I was skeptical as to what my experience is going to be. The young lady who took my order was extremely polite and efficient. It did not help my trepidation when my food came out before I was finished at the drink machine. However, I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, tasty and slightly spicy, which was what I wanted. By the time I left, there were probably 12 people. The musical was an excellent combination of 60s, 70s and 80s. All in all, very good experience. The picture is not a very good representation of the food because I had already eaten a decent amount of it. Lol.“

I highly recommend the enchilada trio. The molè enchilada is absolutely heavenly. I typically avoid this one on a trio, but I've now experienced how life-changing a GOOD molè can be. It's so good, your eyes will have no choice but to close to take in how flavorful it is. Third, the staff is so friendly and the prices are more than reasonable. The positives: amazing burnt bacon ends, amazing beans, self serve onions, pickles, and jalapeños is a plus, potato salad was decent and different. Overall good food, but certainly not the best.
The negatives: brisket (i got mixed) was extremely dry, and the ribs although good, very small for the price. Staff was excellent and very friendly
I personally think this is a decent place for BBQ, and have a good meal with friends and family, but if your looking for the best or the great ones, I wouldn't put this place with them.“
