Food was fantastic, not overly spiced, just well prepared beef kabobs had chicken choices, lamb gyro meat, fish was cod mislabled as Salmon but was very tasty& enjoyed by our group,fresh tabboule salad plus other salads, dolmas, 3 types rice, veggies, lentals, okra in tomatoe, freshly made warm pita, toasted pita chips, lentil soup, delicious well seasoned food. Recommend the rose water refresher. Great desert options: the baklava was a bit limp, not crispy but absolutely delicious nonetheless, rice pudding with orange blosssom & pistachio was lovely palette delight. Grab a cardamom coffee shot to finish the meal. Highly recommend. Our group of 10 ladies were very satisfied with food and price. We even did a take out order for a friend who just had to have more to go.“

“Did a search for good Greek food in the Pasadena area and this place showed. Drove from Deer Park to pick up lunch, and it did not disappoint. I got a mixed plate with beef and chicken...wonderful. “I’m a regular at gyro king and I love the gyro and chicken over rice but the customer service there has not always been the greatest. The girls that are usually behind the counter have a really bad attitude but today when I got my bowl I saw a new face he told me his name was Shak and he was really cool and very hospitable thank you Shak for being a goat and we need more people like u working there.“

“This is one of our favorite go to spots! They have half off appetizers Monday through Friday. One of the items offered is a sampler plate that is usually costs around $40 but closer to $20 during the week. SO MUCH FOOD and always delicious! During the cooler months they have soup flights. Yes, soup flights! There are usually 5-7 soups to choose from. The tomato basil ,chicken enchilada and gyro chili are a few of my favorites. If you love Greek food, this is a must try hidden gem. If not, they have other fantastic food choices and the Medusa burger is one of the best burgers around!! The fire feta is a must. The deck is wonderful and you can look out into the bay just behind the lighthouse. <3“
