Enjoyed the staff at this particular Starbucks. Very much they are friendly and the service. Is great period it used to be a gathering place for students. Be friends could stop in the morning or evenings and talk to each other and enjoy the place.. The new design is very cold.No atmosphere at all and defining because of the acoustics.Nobody can hear what anybody's saying.
They have another issue that I wish they would fix. When they close during the summer, when everybody's out late. They close earlier. They close at 9 PM the other day. I was sitting out drinking my coffee and eating my snack in the car. Because they were close and 12 different people came through and actually they had a line waiting for service and it left the illusion that people were getting service because the people would wait at the box to order for a while, then drive up the window and stop, and everybody thought they were open. And the winter explosion at 9. May be okay, but in the summer is silly. It costs them a lot of customers. And then you designed the store where they no longer have the coffee and the cups and the things people used to like to go in and shop for and by it's just a different place and it's very cold by cold. I mean, the atmosphere is just sterile and you can't even see the people that were your friends..
This sounds like sort of an experimental design so they could focus on online orders and drive through only.I'd be really curious to see what it's really done to The profit margin.
There is an old adage " If it is not broken don't fix it."
It wasn't broken but it is now.I miss the old configuration.Although I like the staff still very much.
