Starbucks in Pasadena

“This is not my usual location AND most baristas at any Starbucks are kind, but I want to say that I had a really pleasant experience this morning at this drive thru. Jessica greeted me with a huge smile and a lot of personality. It was 6:30 in the morning and just an awesome way to start my day.“

“I’m a regular here and usually come to study, often staying 8+ hours at a time. One thing I’ve consistently noticed is how well everyone communicates — not just with customers, but with each other. The teamwork here is truly impressive.
Two people who have really stood out to me are Sunny and Bri. Sunny has incredible knowledge of the menu and is amazing at customizing drinks based on exactly what I’m in the mood for. He doesn’t just suggest random options — he really listens and understands what I’m looking for every time. Bri is wonderful with people and always makes sure everyone feels seen and welcomed.
What I also really appreciate is how the team communicates about regulars. If someone is out for the day, the rest of the staff makes sure they’re on the same page about regular customers’ drinks and preferences. That way, if one of us asks for something a little different, no one is confused — they already know our usual orders and can adjust easily. It really shows how much they care and how strong their communication is behind the scenes.
Overall, this team does such a great job greeting guests as they come and go, supporting one another, and staying positive and organized — even during peak hours (around 12pm and 4pm). Since I’m usually there from 11am–8pm, I get to see both rushes, and they handle it so well.
I truly feel seen and taken care of here. I’ve been to other locations, especially on busy weekends when seating is limited, and I just don’t feel as comfortable or seen anywhere else like I do here.:)

“The food and drinks here were amazing and the employees were so awesome. But there was much much older lady (who I'm guessing was the manager) essentially yelling at her workers and was baffling to hear her talk to her employees like that epecially being that much older. But besides that everything else here was awesome.“
