“I've been looking for a great authentic mediterranean food spot in north Austin, and I think I've finally found it! Came to Lakeline mall for some shopping and decided to stop by at Rumaan. Ali was my waiter, really great guy, explained to me the whole menu and gave great recommendations. The hummus was amazing, nice, creamy, and light. The falafel wrap was also amazing. They used a really thin tortilla wrap so the flavors of the falafel and sauces taste more pronounced. Great spot for a date night!“

First off, the food is delicious, made to order using an open kitchen concept and fresh. I particularly enjoy the gyro plate over rice with both off their sauces(white and a spicy red). I have tried the chicken shawarma as well and it’s tough to choose between them. You can order an extra side of meat if you can’t decide but that’s quite a bit of food. Another notable addition, believe it or not, is their fries. Yes…fries. They’re good, if not great. Always friendly and polite staff and if you’re still hungry you can always visit the shop next door for some amazing ice cream!“
