“Tender, most moist brisket and interesting flavor twists on the classics - pickled onions, thai slaw, and cucumbers. Loved the brisket rub and I definitely would buy both of their bbq sauces. Potato bread slices really set it off. My family went on a Sunday at 2 so the vibe was quiet and private. We would say this is top level BBQ. $75 for 2 lbs of brisket, and 16 oz of slaw plus fixins and we had half of the slaw and 1/4 brisket left, so it's worth it. I do agree with another reviewer that suggested more acid in the slaw. Staff was very kind to us. Looking forward to trying more next visit. We found our new favorite BBQ spot.“

“Outlaws BBQ delivered enough brisket, potato salad and beans to feed 30 people at our family reunion in Winchester yesterday. VERY tasty BBQ! They were very generous w/the pickles, onions and sauce, too. Everyone complimented the food but what we appreciated most was the excellent service. Absolutely 5 stars all the way! Thank you, Shane and Sharon! Great job!“

“On my way out of Giddings, I made a quick stop at Lost Pines BBQ and grabbed a 2-meat plate. The marbled brisket was cooked / smoked to perfection - it had the perfect balance of texture and flavor. The sausage was great - I think it was German sausage. And the parsley potatoes were SO good. I think I will get a quart of those next time. And the BBQ sauce was really good - not too mustardy and not too sweet - just a great unique flavor that does not over power the deliciousness of the main attractions. They have a really great selection of sides both hot and cold. Next time I'll have to eat inside or outside in the covered picnic area and get a baked potato.“
“We stopped by Saturdy evening around 5:30 and Lost Pines still had plenty of BBQ. I had the 2 meat plate with the Briskett, Mac & Cheese and green beans. I really liked that I was given a choice between the lean briskett or marbled. Lots of flavor, good bbq sauce and plenty of seating. Not a restaurant in the traditional sense. It's a walk up counter, with food in a glass case. You order and carry food back to your table. Friendly service. I definately recommed.“

“Real nice BBQ joint. Full service Friday-Sunday. Wednesday and Thursday is just sandwiches (refer to menu picture) Half rack of ribs were fall of the bone and i’m pretty sure it’s a house made BBQ sauce. Can’t go wrong here. It’s definitely worth a slight detour to experience this. I love these hole-in-the-wall side of the road type spots and this is hard to beat. Real legit Texas BBQ“
