“True whole in the wall deliciousness right here! I was around this area and was looking for some delicious pho. It was a little early in the day and Pho Fresh was the only pho place open at that time. They are located in a small plaza right on the back side of San Antonio College. The place itself is not the most inviting, but the smell in the air from all their delicious food is amazing. For my first time I decided to go with Pho Ga (chicken pho). The broth was absolutely perfection and exactly what I was looking for. It came with all the usual sides and they did not skimp on the noodles. Overall it was an amazing pho and exactly what I was looking for. I can't wait to come back again and try some of the other dishes people have been raving about on their reviews.“
“Wonderful meal, very creative dishes. Waiter was extremely helpful and welcoming. The interiors are extremely unique and eclectic. Portion sizes were massive. Really enjoyed everything we had. Hush puppies were unique, really enjoyed the special stir fry they served while we were there (fried chicken heavy).“
“We were a group of 12 with a bunch of kids, Corey guided us in ordering, helped us get tables together, he was very friendly and gracious. The restaurant was clean, bathrooms clean and nice. The food was great, Corey took away finished plates and the boba teas were great!“
“I just had the most amazing Chinese food experience! The place was super cute, the food was incredibly tasty and wonderful, and the staff were beyond helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone craving delicious Chinese cuisine. You won't be disappointed!" The sushi was on point also!!“
“This is certainly a hidden gem. Do not let location cloud your judgment. This was a great experience. Stopped by and our server Josue G. walked us through the menu. Calamari was tender and very crunchy. Our sushi was excellent. We both ordered the cucumber salad and were very happy with our selection. The prices are great and reasonable. Wife had sushi, I had General Tso. Crunchy tender cuts of chicken served over a sweet brown sauce. You can really taste the sesame oil. Delicious. I had to order another oder of egg rolls they were so good. My new favorite spot.“
“Best Pho & and Best pho Prices in NW San Antonio! We love the spicy pork and pho ga, but have recently started getting the seafood h1 with pork base. It's got a great taste. This place feels like home with kind, friendly servers, and there is always a table available. Great place to grab Boba tea as well.... My teen approves. I highly recommend checking this place out. It's a comfortable place to relax and eat!“
“Great Thai food and nice service. My favorites here are Garlic Chicken, Basil Chicken, and love the vegetable soup. The owner is young and growing his business. The food quality and consistency is excellent. I highly recommend it!Vegetarian options: You can basically order any dish and simply ask for vegetables only in that particular flavor.“
“My wife and I went there for lunch today. We were pleasantly surprised how good this place is. We ordered rice chicken soup, Thai Jerkey, and Steam Clay Pot. All were excellent! The soup was small, but was delicious! So were the other dishes. The ambience was pleasant. I strongly recommend it for people interested in Asian food in San Antonio.“
“Pho flavor was very mild and average. Not bad, but not great either. Ingredients were nice and fresh though. I couldn’t eat more than 2 bites of the 420 tots. Such a weird and foreign mix of flavors with a very intense smell. The smell was something like cat food or fish food flakes. Atmosphere and boba were fantastic. Cute place with a little Asian store inside.“
“Not much of a buffet person but so glad we decided to stop in for dinner. The food was awesome. Everything I tried out I enjoyed. There were plenty of options to chose from. A little pricey but well worth it in my oponion. Our waitress Diana was very attentive and friendly. When we were heading out we sparked up a great conversation with our Waitress and two others employees up front. Staff were all so friendly. We will definitely be back with our family.“
“The food at Rock and Rolls restaurant is exceptional! Very delicious and well prepared. There are many menu options to choose from. We had the Pancit with chicken and beef, lemon pepper chicken wings, lumpia, and cheese cake. Each entree was cooked to perfection and the taste was amazing. The chef is very friendly and always takes care to offer the best quality. We will definitely visit this restaurant again. If you're looking for a place to eat in the San Antonio area, I highly recommend Rock and Rolls restaurant.“
“Went with a friend to try the Mongolian burger (with runny egg added), but was blown away by the chili nachos....holy smokes is it excellent. I mean, really, REALLY delicious.Friendly staff all around, and reasonable pricing. The smell and look of the Asian dishes I saw looked great as well!Definite recommend“
“We tried the Combination Pho ($14) which started off decent, but by the end of the bowl we found the clove forward, salty, and somewhat sweet broth was beginning to get overwhelming. The rice noodles were thinner than other pho we’ve had which resulted in the texture of the noodles changing and getting completely soft (not quite mushy) while we were eating. The broth was served nice and hot so the bean sprouts were properly scalded (some places don’t serve the broth hot enough and the bean sprouts stay with a raw taste). Overall, not bad, but not great either.Shaking beef ($14) is a great value here. The beef was flavorful, tender, and nicely charred lending excellent flavor to the onions, lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes it is served on. The beef itself was not the finest cut with many pieces having chewy gristle, but the flavor and overall tenderness made up for it.“
“Ordered via doordash several times now and our food was hot and tasty each time. There were so many vegan options for my friend and we usually struggle to find a lot of choices for her. We both enjoyed the sesame dish, she got tofu and I got chicken. We loved the spring rolls, and enjoyed sesame balls and Thai tea with our dinner.“
“What an incredible restaurant. A wild mash up of Chinese food and Tiki drinks, make sure you get a reservation! Drinks are exceptional and also reasonably priced. Be sure to get the shrimp dumplings. Topped with pork sung, they might be some of the best items on the menu.Kid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. Music is loud, seatings are intimate, lots of alcohol.“
“My parents used to eat here before I was born which was 25 years ago. My mom used to always get the kung pao chicken when she was pregnant. Once I was born and able to eat other foods we would always come here and I would always get the kung pao lunch special. To this day I still get the kung pao and have my whole life at the same location. My girlfriend asks if I ever get tired of it and I don’t. So Wok Inn always gets 5 stars.“
“A lot of food. Shrimp, fish, crawfish, crabs, ribs and all the food was hot at all times. The only PROBLEM I see here is they put too much salt on some dishes. I don't know if they do it on purpose so u don't grab more or it's just the recipe. Also i think it's a little overpriced. Other than that. I will probably come back again.“
