“Enjoyed a delicious Christmas Eve dinner at PF CHANGS LA CANTERA. Food was delicious and we had a very attentive waitress who kept refilling drinks. My son was celebrating his birthday so the giant candle sparkler was a great surprise which made the evening more special. Highly recommend!“

“First time going here. I first want to give a shoutout to Nick, the person serving us. He was on top of his game on making sure we were taken cared of.

The overall dinning setting was different than other places I have been to. The lights they chose was very busy but it created a fun atmosphere. I really enjoyed the fact there was no tv, making the dining experience more personal. This was a very interesting place.

The food was pretty good overall. You can get a lunch or dinner deal that comes with a lot of food. The deal will come with a soup, a rice style or noodles, cheese Rangoon or egg roll, and the main dish.

I had the egg drop soup, that was very well balanced between broth, salt, and egg. I had a cheese Rangoon, pretty standard Rangoon, nothing special. A side I had was fried rice, a little plain but if you mix it with other stuff on the plate, it is pretty tasty. Then my main dish was orange chicken. The orange chicken was hot in the temperature department and fresh. The chicken was not heavily breaded and the orange sauce tasted balanced. The meal was delicious and you get so much food, you could share the dish.“

“Hands down best noodles in San Antonio or even Texas. Every thing from the noodles to the broth and meats are all made traditionally in house. Service is fast and the food is affordable. The robust authentic flavor of the food will make you feel like you’re sitting at a noodle cart somewhere in china as you slurp them down.“

“We arrived at around 6 on a Sunday evening, and waited about 40 minutes for a table. The staff took names for the queue. Everything we ordered was delicious, and nicely presented. Water tasted pure and came in plastic cups.
The place is clean and decorated in chic tradition. The kitchen continuously filled takeout orders while we waited. Perhaps getting a takeout would save the wait during peak hours.“

“My son has been going there for years with his family and he swears by the food that it's the best Chinese food, even better than Golden Wok or other restaurants. And he's been wanting me to go there all the time and my sister and I went with him today, and it was the best that I've eaten. “This little gem has been my go to since they first opened. My kids growing up loved this place. They still come here too now that they are grown. My wife and I enjoy this pretty much every week! I love the fact you can call in your order and it is ready to grab and go within-10-15min. As mentioned by several other posts here the quantities are far more generous than any of the other locations I have gone to especially for the price! Great value. I love the fact you can also get the dinner special any time of day even during lunch time for a couple of bucks more and is plenty for 2 people to share. We love the cashew chicken and we have them make it spicy(they will add spice to any dish-kung pao style). We also like to add a bag of wonton chips for a buck. They go great with the soup or even by themselves and highly recommend the addition. This restaurant will continue to be our go to for tasty Chinese food.“

We go to church down the same shopping strip and decided to stop by China Bistro for lunch — and we’re so glad we did! We met the owner, Michelle, and she was super friendly and helpful. Our whole table ordered different dishes, but my General Tsao’s Chicken was absolutely amazing. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor.

“I've only had their egg rolls. I just stopped in one day for a snack running errands. They are the best egg rolls I've ever had! The vegetables are firm, not mushy cabbage bits like a lot of places. Also, uniquely, there is a bit of cinnamon inside. Which sounds odd but is a surprising and delightful taste! (I had never heard of this before but apparently in some Chinese cuisine, cinnamon is used more often in savory than dessert foods). I am excited to try more of their foods.“
