“Such a great place. Family puts love into their cooking. Prices are very reasonable- $13 for a huge omelette, hash browns and a biscuit with sausage gravy (you can alternatively get pancakes or toast). Took my other half there and he has the Texas omelette- ended up taking half home because it was huge! People are so kind and service is top notch. A hidden gem.“

“My boyfriend and I used to eat here every weekend. We love the food and service. We would walk in, and they were always so friendly. We had a favorite booth and our favorite breakfast. They knew both! Hadn't been in a while, and went back this past weekend. Our usual server who knows us well was so happy to see us! It's a busy place, but the service and food is always great. It's nice to go someplace where they make you feel like family.“

“I love Kanzi, it’s my favorite sushi place in Dallas! The inside is very nice and the atmosphere is great! They have outdoor seating too, and it’s nice that if you’re sitting outside you have a view of the lake. The servers are very friendly and helpful, and the food is among the best I have eaten here in Dallas. They also have some unique rolls, and the prices are very good for the quality. They also have an assortment of delicious hibachi meals, and even scallops that are a very good deal for the price, and taste amazing too! The location is very pretty, and when you finish eating you can always take a walk by the lake!“

“My family and I are regulars at this location for over a decade, I only get the pho because it's just too delicious for me pass up no matter what day we come in, my brother and dad grab the flat noodles and wow they are delicious as well, seems no matter the dish you try you won't regret it! Also I have tried several other pho places and this location is only one I've found with consistent delicious pho at a reasonable rate! The killer roll was our favorite but the Hawaii, Panic roll and golden Cali were amazing. Service from Ngun was excellent and we spoke with Kim the owner 2 or 3 times as she worked the room. Clearly this is why 23 years success in the food business.“

The menu is expansive and surely anyone can find something to suit their tastes. We both had protein bowls for lunch and the filets for dinner. The protein bowls were so flavorful we didn’t feel like we were eating a healthy meal option. The waffle fries with gringo cheese dip, the macaroni and cheese side dish, and the summer salad are must tries. Everything tasted fresh and homemade including the salad dressing. Nothing was cold, stale or past its eating prime. In brief, eating at 54th Street was a culinary experience and the prices were absolutely reasonable. When in the area again we will definitely eat here again!“

I would only suggest for them was a bit more seasoning. It was pretty bland even with lime and consomme. I did give 1 star for the delicious churro. We will be back to try their breakfast though.“
