“Amanda, the manager helped me and was so kind in assisting me with all my questions. She really sold me on coming back with her excellent customer service and bright smile. It's people like her that still give me hope for the fast food industry. Her staff was also very fast and helpful. The only issue i have is that I'm addicted to the coffee. Will be back again.“

“These donuts are the best in Texas! I drive from Dallas every couple weeks just for their donuts. The glazed donuts are light and airy. I get 1 dozen half glazed & half chocolate icing on glazed Plus a dozen with six blueberry and six chocolate cake with the chocolate icing. Yummy! I really can't say enough about them they are the best!“

Fresh Donuts is this nondescript little donut shop —and they are my favourite business in San Antonio.
This place isn't stylish; there's no "decor". But it is always immaculately clean; nothing out of place, everything tidy and orderly.
This isn't hipster donuts, where you're paying $5 for a "lavender mint cruller with salted caramel glaze"; they serve normal, traditional donuts here. But they are always fresh, always delicious, and always consistent: the donuts look like they could be photographed for an ad: perfectly shaped, uniform coverage of the icing, shiny glazes...

My favourite is the glazed blueberry cake donut, and I always add a chocolate ring with sprinkles, and the cost for TWO donuts is $2.70 including tax!

“This is a cash only establishment but it's good food, good people, and a fair price which makes it a good value. It's called Royal Donuts but there are so many other things that I enjoy from here. Breakfast sandwiches, Kolaches, Apple fritters which always sell out early, cinnamon rolls and cinnamon twists, jelly donuts that they stuff when you order them. And oh yeah, they have donuts, and they're good too. They're closed on Mondays. There are a few tables inside, or you can walk in and get it to go, or use the drive thru.“

“We found it! A bakery worth the calories! I was skeptical as I pulled up but just step inside and it's clean, organized, cute and smells amazing! The baker was very friendly and helpful and fluent in Spanish and English. Even the other customers were friendly. “I actually go to the bakery on this building. I'm picky when it comes to doughnuts and "kolaches" . When I feel like having a glazed doughnut, doughnut holes, and/or kolaches I choose her place everytime. Located between the dentist and dominoes. If you don't feel like walking into the bakery she has a drive thru in the back of the building. She is very nice, attentive, and her place is always clean. Go by and try it out for yourself,you won't regret it.“
