“We had to wait an hour to get in because it was busy. Get a reservation if you can. Food was delicious and the staff were very helpful. The food does take a while to arrive but everyone got what they wanted with no problems. To me, the Calabrian Steak & Shrimp Bucatini wasn’t a lot for the price but it was good. Bucatini noodles are hollow inside (in case you didn’t know like me). You can split a pasta dish in two and it was enough for my sister and brother in law. We also had beignets and it was delicious with the chocolate and raspberry sauce.“

“(05/30/25) Eight of us met for dinner at the Pazzo Pastaria and were immediately greeted and seated by the very pleasant co-owner, Ginny. The ambiance is simple, cozy and (thank you), not noisy. The wait staff is excellent (shout out to Katie!); the menu is well organized and offers several out-of-the-ordinary Italian dishes. Don't fill up on the tasty breads and olive oil dip, because the food is delicious and the portions are generous. For a weekend meal, consider making reservations because the restaurant fills quickly. We were pleased with our dinner selections and no one left hungry! The overall experience was so good, we agreed the Pazzo Pastaria would be our new favorite restaurant. PS. “Everything was amazing from start to finish! Bella Sera on Pat Booker is an absolute gem. From the moment we sat down, we were impressed. The garlic knots came out warm and flavorful, perfectly setting the tone. The soup was rich and comforting, and the Caesar salad was crisp and fresh with just the right amount of dressing. I had the baked ziti for my entrée, and it was everything you want in classic Italian comfort food, cheesy, saucy, and satisfying. And to top it all off, the cannoli was perfection: crisp shell, creamy filling, just sweet enough. It was a wonderful combination of flavors and portions were so generous I had plenty to take home. Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!“

“We live in Hollywood Park and Purple Garlic is right in our neighborhood. This is such a wonderful restaurant! The staff is so friendly and fun! It’s literally almost like Cheers “where everyone knows your name” even if you haven’t been there in a while! The food is excellent, always served fresh, extremely delicious and hot out of the oven. They have a nice wine list, but you can also bring your own vino. We’ve always had great dining experiences at Purple Garlic and that’s why it’s been so popular for all these years!“

“First time trying this place and I’m glad that we did. The two of us got there around 4:00 for an early dinner. We were the only table for the roughly hour that we were there. The restaurant was clean, it is in need of a little updating; nothing major. Steve was our waiter and he gave us the best service that we have had in a long time. He was sincere in his actions. He made helpful suggestions on the food and he was spot on; my ice tea didn’t go empty(I drink a lot of ice tea)The food was great; everything including the salad dressing was home made. Our meal came with fresh baked rolls and a large dinner salad. I got the lasagna and it was good; literally bubbling cheese on top when it was served. It was a giant portion; I took about a third of it (and a couple dinner rolls home) and it was good the next day. We will definitely go back!“

“The pizza here is so delicious!! I love the honey bexar pizza and zeppoles. The young woman that rung me up I think her name was Maddie was soooo sweet. The girl with half blonde half brown hair was also very nice and brought my order out to me and made sure I was all good. Highly recommend this place. “This was my wife and my first time here at Capo's Pizzeria on Broadway on 02/14. We were looking for a quiet place to have dinner on a Friday night, Valentine's Day, just before an 8:00pm movie. We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. Shortly thereafter, a saxophonist, by the name of Joel Guerrero, begin to play. The atmosphere could not have been better. The food was 5-star. The service was just as good as the music and food. I had an opportunity to meet a lady by the name of Liz, whom introduced me to the owner, Remi. He could not have been more of a gentleman. “I never really do reviews but I just needed to we moved to the area, and decided to give them a try, the atmosphere is great, the staff, very friendly and kind. The food was really good, we usually get lemon pepper wings and an all meat pizza, great the last three times we've ordered from them. We already loved tanks, but we saw on ksat yesterday that they also scored 100 on their recent inspection, so tanks is our #1 pizza joint now.“

“This pizza place was interesting, I'm giving it 5 stars because of its inventive and wonderful toppings and the fact that it seems like a great neighborhood joint!

My only dissapointment was that the crust was a bit thin, dense, and hard at the same time. I've had thin crust pizza which I like, but this one was just bordering on too hard to chew a bit. I feel like it was world class toppings that was let down with a less than stellar crust.

We still really enjoyed the pizza! Check this place out, be just be aware that if you're looking for a doughy crust, this place isn't it. And its thin pizza crust could use a little work.“

“The food was pretty good. A little expensive for the quality. The Chicken Mattone was perfectly cooked, but the other guests had pasta and said it was "ok". Our waitress, while sweet, interrupted us SEVERAL times to where we felt rushed. We are four parents out for a rare night out and were trying to have conversation and every time we would get deep into conversation she would pop up. Due to the loudness in the restaurant we could also barely hear her. She was quite quiet. I would still go back but maybe for a lunch or happy hour instead of a date night with friends.“
