“If you are looking for truly authentic Mexican food, El Taquito is your spot. We tried the tacos and gorditas. Deshebrada or shredded pork with red sauce, I learned, is a must try!! The shrimp cocktail looks great and was a huge portion along with the soups. The two things I want to try next time.“

“This was a wonderful ending with good food, with friendly and fast service. We had left another Mexican restaurant after 20 minutes of no attention. It was nice to walk in here and have a smiling face and kind waitress. The food was delicious.“

“My extended family and I celebrated my birthday at Beni’s on the first of April. I called ahead and asked to be set up in the room to the right when you walk in- we had 16, including 3 young children. The lady who took the reservation was very excited to have a large group. Everyone enjoyed the extended variety of items on the menu, the food was excellent and they even finished the night off with a “Happy Birthday” singing, complete with sombrero and sopapilla! The lady waiter did a great job - very attentive & friendly. It was reasonably priced & the food came out quickly, and was delicious. We definitely will be back, as it is very close to our house!!! 5/5“

“This quite literally the only place I go for tacos!! The seasoning to the way he doubles up on the tortillas so they don't fall apart.... and damn is his green sauce the best! My only complaint is last two times I went the quality of the steak wasn't the best. Cuts were very chewy... i just switched to the pork... and man is is good. Love this place so much I stop in 3 -4 times a week. Go check him out!! 💯“

“We found this food truck on our way traveling from Florida to Texas and stopped here for dinner based on their google rating. The only thing I wanted was authentic tacos and HOT hot salsa. “This bakery is nothing but the best. They have everything little thing you need for a good bread etc and more so if you need some good bakery this is the place to go to. “Different from the traditional American restaurant. This place is authentic, so you might want to know a little Spanish. I don't think they give refills on drinks either. The food was good, but the torta I had was not very meaty. Maybe they are supposed to be like that, but I would have liked more meat on mine.“

“Hands down my favorite restaurant in Longview, Tx! The fun atmosphere and live music entertainment makes this our go to restaurant for date night, family dinners & they even have a private event room that we are planning to use for our next birthday dinner! I love their bread bowl and the oysters Jaunita!! The menu has so many options for everyone! We love tias and can’t wait to go back again soon!

“We attended a family and friends luncheon at The Jalapeño Tree - Longview following a funeral today. The staff could not have been more attentive or welcoming. Maybe the manager picked the best people to work the event, but they were wonderful. Just the right amount of attention, never intrusive. Three staff members served us in the buffet line; beef and chicken fajitas with beans, rice, fixins, and those house-made tortillas. It was all very good. Most of us got an ice cream cone on the way out, so we paused for one last photo at our loved one’s favorite restaurant. Thanks again, Jalapeño Tree!“
