Wonderful meal. Shared a crab stuffed mushrooms appetizer. The double nickle salmon and 8 ounce filet were perfectly done. Lots of comments about the $2.50 charge for bread. Plenty of wonderful food without the bread. Elle took great care of us, including some local Lubbock knowledge. We really enjoyed ourselves.
Very disappointed with my experience. I come to Lubbock every month and have tried lots of different spots. I kept waiting to go to double nickel and finally gave it a go tonight. First off I ordered my food and my salad came out 2 seconds before my steak arrived. No big slower night, I like to taste throughout my meal anyway. The food was delicious! The service was amazing and respectful! The atmosphere was dim and intimate! Music was romantic and at good volume. The new York strip was tasty and seasoned to perfection. I wish I had room to try the bananas foster, but we will definitely get it next time! The complimentary martini was delicious!
