“We stopped in and I figured I would try their namesake and got a half chicken. My wife got a torta. She lover the torta, which had 2 different meats. The chicken was good, and not dry. The sides of beans and rice were flavorful. Having the chips available to much on while you wait for your order is a nice touch, though having it so anyone can put their hands in there is not really ideal.Still, I'd go back and try some of the other dishes, because they would be worth trying.“
“This is always my to go place to pick up dinner, flavor is always there, I’ll go for the green salsa alone. Staff is always friendly, service sometimes is slow but is understandable since chickens have to be cooking for hours. I also recommend catering for parties, i did it for my son’s party and was super easy, yummy and cost efficient.“
“James was our server at Watters Creek location-he was the best server I have come across anywhere in years!!!! Food is excellent as always. I wish they would add sound absorption decor to assist for the loud noise echo of the happy crowd-really hard to hear your own table.“
“My husband and I discovered this wonderful new Mi Cocina location in McKinney. This restaurant has a fantastic dining area with high ceilings where you can relax and unwind. The food consists of great authentic Tex-Mex dishes. Even though our waiter made a mistake with my order, he is very polite and he apologized. All in all this is a good place to relax, enjoy good food at reasonable prices. We recommend everyone to come here.“
“The food was outstanding. Fresh and nicely presented. The star of the show was the Shrimp Tostada. I honestly could eat like 3! So fresh, lots of shrimp and the perfect amount of lime. The tacos were yummy. Great seasoning. Highly recommended. I split the Carne Asada fries with my friend and it was delicious. Packed full of meat, cheese, beans, fries and more. The portions were huge too.“
“It was our first time in this restaurant, Excellent restaurant, excellent food, and drinks, the best of all was the service of our star server, she was very attentive and clarified all the doubts we had regarding the food and drink menu, her recommendations They were the best. We will be back….“
“I must say that this was such a warm and delightful experience. They seated us very fast. Everything was fresh and delicious. If you want authentic Mexican cuisine they have it as well as Tex-Mex. My drink were good also. I think if I asked Jenny she would have made me a craft cocktail. Yet the top shelf margarita was good. Our table of four ordered fajita nachos, mix fajita platter as well as tacos, plus the chimichangas. It was so much food I could not finish my plate.“
“Can’t say enough about the service and food. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. First time bringing our 1 year old out into a restaurant and they were accommodating and friendly. We had some street tacos and queso with corn. Everything tasted both fresh and flavorful. Will certainly be coming back and encouraging others to check it out if they haven’t.Also, they had a few TVs with games on as well. Just some extra bonus points“
“The highlight, without a doubt, was the service. My server, was nothing short of exceptional, making me feel like more than just another customer. The personalized attention and detailed recommendations made my meal even more enjoyable. Now, onto the food – the chicken fajitas were simply unforgettable. The meal was not just food; it was an experience, enhanced by the ambiance and the staff's genuine warmth. What sets Anasofia's apart isn't just its mouth-watering menu, but also its community feel. And yes, the margaritas deserve their own shout-out – they were that good. The consistent excellence across my visits is a testament to Anasofia's commitment to quality, both in their food and their service. It's more than just a meal; it's an experience that beckons you back for more.“
“Clean restaurant, any food from the menu is good, you want some tacos tortas come to this place, prices are good. This is Not the typical Tex-Mex restaurant this is an authentic Mexican Restaurant y arriba Guanajuato oigan ♥️I love this place “
“Absolutely amazing. Discovered them by accident. Atmosphere is nice and clean. Staff so so hospitable. Hubby fell in love. Every bite is consistently delicious. I don't think they'd have anything on the menu that I wouldn't LOVE. So worth it!“
“Crystal was amazing. The food was great and service was even better. Both were so good I’ve come two days in a row for lunch while in training.I appreciate great authentic Mexican food and Hispanic service. Will definitely recommend others to come.“
“Bar none the best tacos I've had in the entire North Dallas area, and also tied for my favorite in all of DFW. Meats are always tender and well-seasoned, tortillas are made fresh, and their salsa verde is one of my favorites! Family-owned, and service is always very attentive and friendly. The owner also told us they are happy to make something off the menu if they have the ingredients. I always forget to take a photo before I start digging in.“
“So glad I tried this place. It is a food truck set up outside a gas station. There is a seating area as well specifically for the customers. I hit the Birria tacos and the steak nachos.Tacos- crunchy, cheesy, meaty, and tasty. I liked them without the consommé.Nachos- boy oh boy, were these loaded. I really just should have stuck with the nachos because the helping is more than generous. I just wanted to try both items at the same time. The ingredients were fresh. The meat was flavorful. I like the liquid cheese vs the baked on cheese. These nachos are fire ?I am looking forward to trying other items on the list. Service was also quick and customer friendly.“
“Are you a food enthusiast? If so, you would love this hidden gem with multiple locations. Each visit has been a delightful experience that never disappoints. The pork tamales are exceptional, packed with meat that will satisfy your cravings. The soft and flaky torta bread is perfect for the authentic rustic flavor that blends well with the sauce. You must try the quesabirria, which is a delightful combination of a cheese quesadilla and taco. It's a must-have! The owners have made every visit worth your while, with fantastic food that will leave you satisfied. Bring your friends and family anytime, and you won't regret it. Come and experience it for yourself!“
“It was a surprise to find this little place, the food was delicious, service excellent they greet you as soon as you open the door, and checking up on you constantly, I grab the campechano tacos and a chicharrón gordita, the chicken tacos were full of flavor and juice, and the agua the horchata on point, the red sauce was my favorite it was spicy. I am looking forward to coming back.“
“I have had so many different food items that they offer and each one is a home run. Very unique menu items and all amazing. The service is top notch and enjoy how professional and attentive the staff is. My only complaint is it can get very busy but what do you expect from a place like this!“
“Torchy’s Taco is a good restaurant. This is the first time that I have ever eaten here. I thought the nachos and queso were good. I had two different types of tacos. They were good. For the quality of the food we think it was somewhat overpriced. We recommend this location.“
“Bright, clean and casual! Delicious tacos, tamales, menudo eggs rancheros and much more. Full menu is on the website. Really good coffee and beer and carbonated water on tap.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to maneuver between tables and normal ramp from the parking lot.“
“Excellent environment, friendly service, and great food choices. Especially impressed with Roberto for his energetic smile and making sure we didn’t miss out on half price bottle wine. Thank you, Roberto and Everarado for a great dinner experience!“
“We were looking for authentic Mexican food, but came across this Tex-Mex restaurant instead. The food was delicious. When we arrived we did wait a little bit until a waiter showed up. But they were very attentive and the food was served fast too. The food could be Tex-Mex but it had a lot flavor.“
“Anyone looking for authentic Mexican tacos, this is the place. If you're looking for tacos, go elsewhere. Being from Houston, I've found it difficult to find authentic street tacos. Well, I've found it difficult to find authentic Mexican food in general. If you're looking for Tex-Mex, this isn't really the place, my guy.“
“I ordered the Carne Asada (red) to go. It was excellent! The cut of the beef & cooked to perfection! Grilled vegetables & bean (soup?) - equally marvelous! I've ordered this in the past but never took the time to review. Bravo!“
“I love that some restaurants still respect and care for their customers and employees. My first time visiting and I have to say it was the best I e seen in a few years. The services is very much welcoming that makes you want to be a repeat visitor. Word of mouth is every nowadays and I could not stop talking about the Loco Asada Fries that we ate them 2 times in that day. And I have to admit I was surprised that in the evening everything was still fresh and hot. I love that. First time and I will definitely be back.“
“We love Jhonny's food! Usually the service is also topnotch but the woman serving us was distracted talking to the other employees and seemed fairly uninterested in serving us. Of course it's run down but that's part of what's to love!Kid-friendliness: Totally kid friendly“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tino's Too Mexican Restaurant in Plano, TX on K Ave, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was. It's clear that the owners take great pride in their establishment. The warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately made me feel like part of the family. The fact that Tino's Too is a family-owned restaurant only added to the charm. I had the pleasure of being served by David, who provided the best service I have ever experienced in my life. His attentiveness, friendliness, and genuine care for our dining experience were truly exceptional. But it wasn't just the service that impressed me. The entire place had a magical aura, from the happy and contented customers to the warm and inviting ambiance. During my visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Raul, the owner, as well as his two children who also worked at the restaurant. It was evident that they were all passionate about what they do, and their attention to detail was unparalleled. Now, let's talk about the food. My wife ordered the menudo, and I had the caldo de res. I have traveled the world and dined at countless restaurants, but I can confidently say that the taste and quality of the food at Tino's Too surpassed anything I have ever experienced. The flavors were rich, the ingredients were fresh, and every bite was a delight to the senses. What impressed me even more was the fact that Tino's Too has been in business since 1976, a staggering 48 years at the time of this writing. This speaks volumes about their commitment to excellence and their ability to consistently deliver exceptional dining experiences.Tino's Too Mexican Restaurant will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It's not just a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made, where families come together, and where the love for food and community is celebrated. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you're looking for a truly extraordinary dining experience, look no further than Tino's Too.John and ErikaParking: Just come lots of parking.Kid-friendliness: Family welcoming“
“Amazing food! Good selection, and decent prices. I like to try a new thing everytime I go. All the meats are great, but I always enjoy tortas the most. My girlfriend is vegetarian and she always has a good meal - the Nopales is great!Vegetarian options: NopalesEggPotatoRice“
“I'll start with the food, though the service outshines it, the best genuine Mexican food I've enjoyed since I left SoCal by far, now the service was all smiles and also genuine. Small little place, just made it cozy. I can see growth here.Parking: It's in a small business area near my church, Christ Fellowship onOrchid and Eldorado.Kid-friendliness: Kid's had a wonderful time with kid friendly options. A lot of laughsWheelchair accessibility: My daughter uses a wheelchair and we had no difficulty at all.“
“My normal is the Cuban burger and the burrito. Everytime I come in I don't have to wait no more than 8 mins. The workers there are very nice & the food is great. I haven't tried their street tacos yet although I heard through people in the community is good & I don't put a pass to it that their tacos are good ??Their prices are reasonable & you will get what you paid for more than enough.“
“Update: Have gone back and the birria was perfect, didn't feel salty again. Friends ordered tacos and a burrito bowl I believe and they enjoyed it a lot.Original review: Winter 2024 -Tried a couple things after this restaurant recently reopened under new management/ownership. Shared the 4 birria taco order with a friend and we agreed that it was salty, but I don't think it was an issue necessarily, as birria is a pretty savory dish. I also had a chicken torta and I felt that was a little under seasoned. I plan to come back and try some more items, as I overall enjoyed the food and there's not many halal Mexican options in the DFW area.“
“I had a surprise lunch for my mother's 70th birthday at Uncle Julio's in Allen today and the manager and staff were absolutely fantastic. I had reserved an area for about 30 people with the manager Kevin Moore a few weeks ago. He asked for things she liked and flowers and when we arrived to set up he had flowers and a gift waiting. It was so beautiful and sweet of them to do that for my mom. The servers Roman and Adam were so attentive and were able to handle our group's needs and there were no issues. They even let us know when she was walking in. The food was amazing too and everyone was raving about their food. We all had a wonderful experience and I will go back often. They helped create wonderful memories and I am very grateful for all they did for my mom. If you have a special event, I would recommend Uncle Julio's in Allen! They will take care of you like family! Thank you!“
“Been going to Dillas since their only location opened was the one in Plano. It's fresh and tasty. I can't remember a week I haven't gone lately in the past years, at least me or my husband go once a week. The hot hatch is where it's at and the chips and queso. The fires are good too. You can get any Dilla as a salad too. They also have fresh brewed sweet and unsweet tea and lemonade. We always said this place would take off and it is and I am so happy for them that they have grown so much over the years.Good food. Great people. It won't be long before you will be able to find a Dilla anywhere you go!“
“We have been here a few time now. So far we have enjoyed all of the food. We personally have focused more on the seafood like fish tacos, ceviche, and augachilies. Each has been very good, the tortilla chips that come with certains dishes are top notch and not the super thin ones you get at other places. The place itself, not much to say beyond it is a comfortable place to go for a quick meal. The ladies working there have always been very friendly and helpful. We will definitely keep going back. My only wish is we had started coming here sooner.“
“The only reason I couldn't get 5 stars is because of the bathroom, I couldn't stay there for long because of the strong plumbing smell. There they let you know when it no longer smells like that to return ?. The food and service is “
“Not living in Texas anymore, there are TexMex standards that never disappoint. Blue Goose is one of them.Even with a small issue with one entreé, they quickly fixed it and we're on top of getting some extra things for us to go as well. Thanks!!“
“Drinks weren't mixed well & slow to arrive. Food was way under seasoned... like no salt. Our food was pretty much cold when it arrived on the table. No steam coming from the fajita plate kind of cold- cheese melted into a goop onto the tacos. Was not good.We waited over 30 min for our table. Expected better for that kind of wait.Kid-friendliness: Gave free ice cream to my kids.“
“FANTASTIC! Beautiful restaurant which offers well priced meals for groups or individuals. What they do with so few ingredients leaves me absolutely stunned. Plus, the service is lighting fast. If you go here, remember to load up on salsa and condiments at the little bar near the food pickup desk.Kid-friendliness: Lovely atmosphere, nothing adult oriented. Fun for the whole family.“
“I come here for the Beef tacos but everything else is super fresh and delicious too! It was our first time ordering the Tortilla soup and I'm definitely getting it again next time - it tasted kind of similar to chicken noodle soup. If you ever visit Desperados please don't forget to order the Beef tacos; it's so fresh, crispy and the beef is so well seasoned. Also our server Maria was very kind and attentive “
“The vegan tacos are incredible and vet filling. We love this place.Dietary restrictions: I like that you have gluten free options. However, please know that if the Colorado taco has beer in it, it cannot be labeled gluten free. Beer has gluten.“
“I've eaten at Chuy's in many cities, multiple states, lots of times. This is one of the best locations, and today I had a fantastic experience. The food is consistently good, and the entire staff was cheerful, helpful, and made the experience very enjoyable. I highly recommend it.“
“The atmosphere was excellent and the decoration very well done. The food was good quality, and was a large portion. The service was a bit lacking. Too many times of having to wait on drink refills or have dirty dishes cleared. Also, water was refilled from a bottle, not a pitcher. So any refills were room temp with no ice.“
“we have a group of about 8 who dine out together regularly. we used to go to another restaurant in Allen until we discovered Salsa! The place that used to be there was terrible, but Salsa is terrific. Our waiter, last time, was not good, but the food is consistently delicious. We go at least twice a month and have yet to have a bad meal. The chicken enchiladas and quesabirria tacos are winners! The warm black bean dip is the bomb.“
“I’ve coming to Nom Noms since high school and it’s been the best. Fresh ingredients, very courteous and nice staff and super good ice cream!!My favorites are the pork in green salsa, cilantro rice, mango fresh salad m. They have a ton more to try!Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and kids meal.“
“We found this place in 12/2023, and we love the food and service. We already have been here many times as it 2/2024. And, we will definitely come here, again! Don’t forget to the sauce from the fridge; I never ever use any sauce but food is on next level when you use their mustard green sauce from the fridge!!!“
“Been coming here for a long time and wanted to give it the love it deserves. My personal favorites are the brisket enchiladas, pollo relleno, Manuel's enchiladas, and the salmon. Top notch food with excellent service. Highly recommend!“
“Great outside patio for nice days. We had an excellent and friendly server for lunch on a Saturday. The salsa which accompanies the free chips was delicious and not spicy. The kids menu was all right, although my son only ate the fries standard fare Tex mex as far as entrees go, but the service was what stood out. Don’t sleep on the chocolates and sweets at the front!“
“This Restaurant is small but the food is the best Mexican Food I have ever had. We live about an hour from this restaurant so anytime we go to my brother-in-laws we make time to stop by and have lunch or dinner. It's absolutely amazing!“
“Hidden Gem! This place is delicious and has plenty vegetarian and pescatarian options. Salsa and Queso is delicious. You get what you pay for here compared to other places. I got the veggie enchiladas and sub for Spanish rice and added the summer sauce on top which is like a spicy cheese sauce but it’s not too spicy to me, it’s perfect. Leo, the server was kind and patient. I’ll definitely be back.“
“Small homely place perfect for my family of four. We were seated right away on a Saturday night. The people were super friendly and my waiter Daniel was top notch. We had refills without asking and I didn’t even have to ask him for a sweet tea to go (I was going to ask). We had chicken fajitas for two and we share with our kids. We had plenty to go. The chicken was super tender and had a wonderful flavor. I always drove by this place and tonight we decided to give it a try. This will be a new regular place for me and my family. Total for all four of us was sixty bucks.Parking: Plenty of room to park!!Kid-friendliness: My kids were more than happy so I say that’s pretty kid friendly for us.“
“I love their bowls. They were training several people, so they took a little longer than usual, but they were trying. The trash was piled up and the trash can and the ice/ soda machine had a mound of ice piled up. Otherwise, everything was clean and in order.“
