“My family of 5 and I were in town near Athens, TX for a family reunion. I found this restaurant today for us to try for breakfast based on the great reviews. We were ignored at the door while waiting for someone to assist us with a table. Once seated, staff started serving other guests after us with menus and coffee. When we asked for menus we were given a dirty look. After receiving such a negative experience, we decided it was time to leave and find another place more welcoming of all patrons.“

“We had a great experience at Chili’s in Gun Barrel City! We stopped in later in the evening, and while it wasn’t busy when we first arrived, the restaurant quickly filled up by the time our food came out. Even with the rush, the service never skipped a beat.
Our server, Chris, was absolutely exceptional! She was friendly, attentive, and kept our drinks refilled without us ever having to ask. She made sure everything came out quickly and checked on us throughout the meal, even as the restaurant got much busier.
We ordered the Appetizer Trio along with the chips and three dips. They were out of the guacamole, but they happily substituted queso instead, which was a great alternative. Everything was fresh, hot, and exactly what we were craving.
If you visit Chili’s in Gun barrel City, I definitely recommend asking for Chris—she made our dining experience even better. Outstanding customer service goes a long way, and we’ll definitely be back again!“

“Today was my first day eating at Cicis Pizza in gunbarrel and in my opinion it is the best Cicis Pizza in the area. It was extremely clean. The pizza was extremely good and the service was excellent. I have eaten at Cicis Pizza in Terrell, Texas, and Kaufman, Texas and the Cicis Pizza in Gunbarrel Tx is worth the drive. I think it’s the best cc out of all of them in the area. I will definitely come back when I want to eat pizza. God bless.“
