Super YUMMY, super FRESH, and I could feel it was cooked with LOVE.

I was craving for quesabirria and randomly stopped here. Guys if you live nearby, it's a gem and must visit. I am not sure how your tastebuds are or what your preferences are but even at least if you crave for food cooked with passion and care, this is the place.

I'm surly gonna keep coming back.

The birria though didn't seem as colourful was surprisingly sooo delicious, It had perfect amount of fat I have ever had and I could keep drinking their Birria all day long.“

“I was just in the area and I would say this is probably one of the best tacos I’ve had in Austin in a while. I got the Pastore tacos times two, and it was so good. I had to contemplate whether I should get another one, but I stocked myself. Definitely a hidden gem. It’s right across coffee cartel, which I will probably make a review on them as well but overall the experience is really good in total. I think I paid about nine dollars with tip for two tacos 😇“

“This might be my favorite Mexican food spot in Austin, and is one of my favorites in all of Austin in general. The food is just so flavorful, so well spiced. The sauces that come with the tacos and burrito is very good. I usually go for the al pastor tacos, or the carnitas, or the chicken fajita tacos. I also love their horchata. Very affordable dining spot as well. Writing this review because I want them to stick around with all of the new development that's in the area.“

“Fairways Cantina is one of Austin’s hidden gems. The food is SO good! We had the Happy Gilmore tacos and the Merry Mex tacos, and both were delicious! The avocado ranch sauce is pretty spicy, but so tasty! The chips were even better than Chuy’s, and the guacamole may have been the best I’ve ever had — and that’s really saying something because I’ve had more guacamole than I could ever measure! My granddaughter and her friend had the chicken and cheese quesadilla, and they loved it. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and kind — and provide super-personal and caring service. The eating area is comfortable, clean, and very cozy. The view of the golf course out the windows — even on a cold winter’s day in February — was lovely amd relaxing. On a warmer day, we would’ve eaten outside at one of the tables on the spacious verandah. Maybe next time!

I love finding great places that are “off the beaten path” (even though this is in a very developed part of Austin) — places that might not be on every “influencer’s” list of an area’s places to try, but that turn out to be pure enjoyment.“

“My children love birria and late night they were the only food truck open and I’m so glad they were. We’ve been paying $10 tops for 1 birria taco and we got 2 for $8. They had so much flavor and even the dip was so flavorful and we’ve never got that paying double. We’ve found our go to for tacos and birria. If I could rate them a 1000 I would.“

“I love this place. The tacos are excellent, the staff is wonderful, and everyone I’ve brought here has loved it too. I decided to order a ton of tacos for my daughter’s birthday party to accommodate gluten free, vegetarian, etc, and they were a huge crowd pleaser! They had my big order ready right on time (I called a few hours early to order), helped me carry it out, labeled all the bags, and sent plenty of red and green salsa (very important!). I love this local, non-chain spot for tacos and more.“

“I loved the bean and cheese pupusas -- Freshly made and served with red tomato sauce and slaw. It's sold from a converted shipping container/food stand next to the Buddies market. If you didn't recognize the Salvadorian flag colors, you might miss it. We got drinks from the mart, horchata from them, and parked in the chain linked area to eat outside on the covered picnic tables. Yum! Not wheelchair accessible.“

“1 of my favorite Mexican restaurants, & definitely my favorite fast food Mexican. It's so vegetarian friendly, food always tastes fresh. Good portion sizes, so you can eat a little, or buy a lot and have more.

“Ever go to a place so legit that it scares you to be there? That is this place. This taco was a 2000/10. It was scary good. Bring cash because legit places like this don't take credit. Expect to pay between $13 and $26 a person, because you might want 6 tacos instead of 3.“

“Letty’s Tacos is a hidden gem tucked next to a Valero gas station in Austin — and honestly, that makes it even better. The tacos al pastor were incredible — tender, flavorful, and packed with that perfect balance of smoky and sweet. The spicy sauce had just the right kick without overpowering the flavor.

The tamarindo agua fresca was also a standout — super refreshing and the perfect balance of tart and sweet. You can tell everything’s made with care and love.“

“You must try the menudo on Sundays it’s the best menudo ever. It does go by fast so we drive about 45 mins to go get it super early in the morning. The owner Elvira is a hard working women I know her since she use to sell in her house. Try the menudo and barbacoa you won’t regret it!“

“Well I was pretty sure that I got charged the gringo price, but the food that was served to me was fresh, delicious and ample. I had the tacos al pastor (5x) with a large Mexican coke for $20. Maybe that's the gringo price, maybe not. But the food was worth it to me.“

“Everytime I come into this Torchys, the costumer service is always amazing. My order is very specific and never have an issue. Today’s visit has truly showed me great customer service. My daughter left her retainer along with the trash and a crew member took her time to go through a bit of trash to recover them expensive things. Mind you I went all the at home (10 min away) and she got my info on where I sat and helped with this weird request. For that this will always be my favorite Torchys and I Owe Jessica 🎉🎉🎉“

“The big homie Nacho’s food truck (Tacos El Pariente) is amazing. Pretty much everything is good. I really recommend the tacos de tripa, tacos de trompo, the tacos dorados, the quesabirria plate, and the HOTDOGS SMACK MY BRUDDA. This is the only taco truck me and the lady go to. There’s also another truck on N Lamar if that’s closer to you and I believe one on E Braker by The Domain.“

“OMG I am a restaurant Connosseur by hobby and this food is sooo good. The breakfast tacos are fresh made and it doesn't matter which one they are always delicious. I was sick this weekend and I went to try their menudo and it was some of the best I have ever had. It could have used a bit more hominy for my personal taste, but the meat was tender, soup just the right amount of oregano and they put pig feet which is another delight. It will cure a hangover and it's working pretty well for my allergies and cold. I gave the atmosphere a three just because its Rundberg (but don't leave I live in the HOOD, so I am used to the interesting atmosphere, and I appreciate the good food) lol but the little outside seating is quaint during spring or late night. Oh, did I mention the coffee is great I order a bit of cream and sugar and they get it perfect every time., its slightly flavored with cinnamon and piping hot. I love it.“
