“I have known the folks who’ve managed this restaurant from the start for 10 or so years now. They are very kind and loving, caring people. I watched their son grow from a little child, to being taller than I am! Knowing them and working for them has been a joy that goes beyond professional, they are family to me. Coming from the inside, I want everyone to know, health and safety is a priority, the meats are trucked in fresh, never frozen, the staff are all fun to be around, and the food is great. Sake earned a status in my heart as a pinnacle of the Mansfield community. This town wouldn’t be home without this restaurant that has seen me grow into the person I am today. “We wanted to try this place on our eat-out day, but honestly, we were a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews. Still, we gave it a shot—and we're glad we did. It didn’t disappoint.

The regular bowl is $13 and comes with 2 proteins and 5 sides. We were pleasantly surprised to see they actually have more protein and side options available in-store than what’s listed on the menu board. The staff were quick and efficient, and they’ll ask what sauce you want. We tried all three, but later noticed they have bottles on the side—so tip for next time: just add your own at the table to control the flavor better.

We went with salmon and tuna, and both were fresh and tasty. The portion size was solid—$13 filled us up just fine. If you’re hungrier, they also have a larger bowl for $17.

Located in a shopping center, so there’s plenty of parking. For those saying it's expensive—honestly, everything is these days, and we think the pricing here is fair for what you get as of 7/25/25.“

“I came in on a Saturday evening, and there was no wait to be seated. I did not do hibachi, I did regular dine in. I like that they had a couple of selections of Japanese beer and domestic beer. Had ordered 3 sushi rolls, and they were very delicious. I had tried a new roll called Tokyo something, and it was my fav. I also ordered an appetizer of dumplings, and they were tasty. The service was very friendly but a little slow. I believe the waitress was very busy. Overall, I enjoyed the sushi and will be returning.“
