“I can’t say enough good things about Slim Chickens! We came here tonight for the first time. It was a pre-pandemic experience! The salt and pepper was out. All the napkins and lids and straws and plastic ware. Everything other places now hoard behind the counter and grumble to give you… Slim Chickens gives you! And with a smile!! Great great place.“

“I have not been to a Black Eyed Pea since I left Houston some 15 years ago, I had no idea that this Black Eyed Pea in Arlington, Texas was the only one left in Texas, I took my family here for the first time today, and we all loved it, And will definitely now be regulars! Come during the day and ask for Archie, he was a great server, and part of the reason that made the experience so delightful, thank you, Archie, keep up the great work!!“

“Karadavion W OMG this man right here needs a raise or to be promoted! I watched him wait on 5 tables simultaneously and he didn’t miss a beat! He got out good out fast and checked on us regularly and held great conversation with each table! Friendly and customer service superb!!!!“

“The food was great and the people were nice. Our server could have been a tad more attentive, but she was nice. The manager had her ship running well. I hadn't eaten at cheddars in years. Turns out I was going to the wrong one, lol. I will definitely be back, and I hope the food continues to be good. I will definitely get pictures and even video next time. I went on a Sunday ao it was quite busy and I quite hungry lol.“
