“So glad we were introduced to this little gem! It has a down home, nostalgic, feel to it. The service and food were excellent; and, prices are very reasonable. Hubby had a Bacon Burger and I had the Ribeye Quesadillas; he enjoyed his burger and the quesadillas were to die for! 🤤😋 Seating is limited inside, however, there is seating available on the outside patio; also they close at 2p.“

We normally visit the donut shop weekly. All the items are made fresh daily. The croissant with bacon and egg is my favorite- but on Mondays- I have to add a few more minutes to my exercise routine.
This is a great business to support.!“

“They cut their sausages lengthwise and stuff them with jalapeños and cheese before putting them in the dough and baking them.
The end result is incredible, everything here is 10/10. I try to get at least one new item to try each time I visit and I've never been let down.“

“My niece from New York found this gem. This is the 2nd year she ordered my birthday donuts. I’m in love with the taste and texture of the donuts and more importantly we were not able to pick up on the designated day and the owner remade the donuts fresh. These were personalized. “I’m not a donut connoisseur, but Dawn Donuts may have the best apple fritter I have ever eaten. I liked it so much, I bought another one (their last) to take back to Dallas with me. My wife really enjoyed the maple iced old fashioned cake donut, and our girls enjoyed the glazed and the frosted donuts they had. The woman at the counter was very nice and patient as my kids picked out the donuts they wanted.“

“I had never been to this place before but needed to stop to buy a bunch of refinery workers breakfast usually this is a easy $100 plus trip but this morning I stopped in this little place kind of off the beaten path they had way different selections of breakfast items than most of the little donut shops do The young lady in there loaded me down and I want to say that my total ticket was $70 by far the cheapest place I've ever been and the food was amazing so five stars.“

“My wife and I have been to several donut shops in the area and we kept coming back to this one. The new owner is so nice!! She always greets us and is so kind! The donuts were fresh, soft and warm! Very good!! Apple Fritters and Bear Claws (with apple inside!!) are the best!! You can also get almost any donut stuffed with a choice of cream/filling!!“

“Wow. Just wow. Amazing service. Came here recently to enjoy some donuts and corndogs (I work healthcare i’ve had a rough day) Julie and Jake, that day served me the best customer service experience i’ve ever had in my 27 years alive. Awesome staff, amazing food, kawaiifull store. I recommend this place to everyone! we had a blast talking about our day and plans while I waited for my food. Honestly they should get a raise! you don’t see this service anymore in the big 25! 😂😂 This is now my favorite place to grab a quick snack from, hope to see you guys again soon! 😌 mhm“

“This has to be the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. The roll has a soft, deep flavor with a perfect amount of cinnamon.
My only wish is that that had nutrolls. Everyone is very nice and friendly. And I had no problem meeting the $5 minimum ?
I took my time and dined in. It seems there is a regular that sits at the long table and talks to everyone. It’s a great feeling to watch him interact with people. He had the delivery people smiling and laughing. One guy came in just to say hi to him after going through the drive-thru.
One of the ladies behind the counter was FaceTiming a young relative. She was lovingly telling the child not to cry - and mommy was going to give them milk. It was a sweet exchange.
Overall, if you have a few minutes to enjoy your morning: stop in, grab your favorite donut and a drink, and enjoy the ambiance. It’s busy, but very inviting and fun! You will be ready to face the day with a sense of joy.“

“I prefer this location over others, the staff is nice. The man working up front is possibly the owner or manager, he is so nice and always quick to help or is running a special. My only complaint here is the drive thru can take quite a while in the mornings, other than that this is a nice & clean Shipleys with a very nice staff.“
