“What a fantastic Gem of a find.
You won't go away hungry, Burritos are on point and filling even for a fat man like me. Staff super friendly and kind with smiles all around. I ordered the Carne & Cuṅada Burritos.
plenty of seating outside and more intimate inside. Sticker friendly as well as sharpie marker friendly ( keep it pg13 please).

“I get the feeling people are missing this place because it's not in a spot with natural foot traffic. But if you see this review, I promise you won't regret having lunch here. Probably the best torta I ever had. The bread was out of this world, as well as the steak and the sauces. 1000% recommended. Lovely lady running the place too.“

“When looking for Mexican food after our arrival in Marfa, Marfa Burrito came up but it's closed for dinner... Angel's is close by and we decided to try it out Yes, we can get great Mexican dishes in California but Tex-Mex is a different beast altogether. Definitely the sauces have more of a punch which is highly appreciated by the two of us. Combo plate and beef / chicken botanas are very different from what we're used to. Mannn, the sauce is awesome and combining the red and green pepper ones makes for tons of flavor. As dessert we had a half order of sopapillas that were sumptuous and delicious..... 9/10 on the food. Service wise, nice staff - it's a simple setup and it worked out fine at the end. Lastly, the place is equally simple and rugged which is fitting for Marfa, Just the right food at the right time for two tired travellers.“

Carmen's Boutique Hotel Mexican • $

“Elsie returned my phone call and we had a 2 minute conversation before we agreed on the king suite for one night. Beautiful, historical building with a lovely history. King suite was spacious, had a private bathroom and included a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker (8 cups) and very fluffy towels, Amazing water pressure as well. The AC worked incredibly efficient, and our bed was a very comfortable, soft king sized with nice bedding. Location was in a prime spot, building was very safe and easy to navigate.

Highly recommend this spot to anyone coming to Marfa and unsure where to stay.“
