I visited this Schlotzsky’s today and had the worst experience. We ordered at 12:30 by 1:00 we noticed no food had come out of the kitchen. At 1:10 we approached the cash register and no one came out for over 10 minutes. At this time no food had left the kitchen for over 40 minutes there were over 20 people waiting in the restaurant for their food. Fresh made sandwiches. Friendly folks. Family oriented and located in a nice area. Wanted to eat outside but my kids said it was too hot lol 😝
I’m a totally Schlotzsky’s fan, have been for years!! ❤️ But when it comes to this McKinney location.... I just have to say - Love the food, service is normally great, speed is good. But I’m getting really sick of paying 3$ for a drink that’s 95% ice. (Even when you ask for light ice). Absolutely ridiculous. make sure you check your drinks before you drive off... unless you like getting ripped off! 😡

Based on the reviews, Schlotzsky's Deli is a restaurant with kind folks working there. The customer service is five stars, with very attentive and helpful workers. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and tables are wiped regularly. The food is fresh and delicious. The sandwich bread is perfectly toasted and soft, with really good flavors. The flatbread with chicken, avocado, and cheese is amazing, super flavorful, and loaded with toppings. The cinnamon roll is warm, soft, and covered in the perfect amount of icing. One location is the best one in North Texas. A specific pizza was wonderful, and the staff brought out a replacement because the first looked a little burnt. Everything tasted fresh, making for a solid 5-star experience.
