“We stopped by Friay Evening before heading out fo the night. We order a "**** Chicken" plate which was a bit spicy but we still managed to enjoy the our food. The drinks were really good and had plenty of alcohol for us. We played a few games before heading out. We truly enjoyed ourselves here.“

“We had gone to another local establishment to eat corn beef and cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day. We left completely dissatisfied. We decided to try B&B. We hadn’t been to B&B for several years. What a pleasant surprise and an excellent experience. Aaron, the manager,, met us as we entered. He was very enthusiastic in helping us get a table and making sure we were seated. Our waitresses and all of the staff We interacted with were terrific and helpful. The food was great the whole experience was fun. Just want to make sure that this message is very positive and the food was REALLY great!“

“Truth be told, we only came to this location out of convenience; and we sure are glad that we did so!

The food itself was very delicious, the staff acted patiently and accordingly, and the dining area / restrooms were quite clean. The only real issue we had was that a couple (sitting right next to us) were talking quite loudly and using some strong language.

Apart from that, we loved the aesthetic of this place and are glad that it could satisfy our appetites!“

“I am a hotel guest and didn't want to drive anywhere for dinner. I decided to give Birdies another try. (3rd time visiting) I ordered a smash burger without the egg or bacon. It was cooked perfect!!! Burger and fries was hot. Before I knew it, I ate the whole thing!! Ok Birdie, you have redeemed yourself from my 2 previous visits. “A sports bar with great vegan food! I love the Phoenix for watching sports. The food is great and varied. They have choices for most diets. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Also, I have consistently been served tasty cocktails. Lastly, the owner is hands on and makes sure everything runs smoothly. Please give this local establishment a try!

“This pub began in 1978 while I was living in the Klein community of the expansion of Spring, TX. I live in Baytown now, so I never made it over here to this part of Montrose until this November 2024. Better late than never. If you love pub fare like I do, then a hot plate of fish and chips will help you through your day. There is no denying a delicious meal of hot cod ( a deep Coldwater fish!) No matter where or what part of the world you are visiting during a seasonal shift. Especially this time of the year, when temperatures begin to dip in south Texas. The reason for the food at a good level of four stars is that the chips or French fries were only seasoned curly fries leaning away from traditional chips. If you introduce this as part of your entree, then mix it up with some real cut potato fries, at least. The English and
majority of people of the UK love plenty of potato. And also, plenty of malt vinegar to douse it up with. So much so that it envelops in the steam rising off the fried fish. And one can smell it enough to open the senses. Beyond my petty needs, it was good.

Parking: Across the street during the week. Free sidewalk parking. Paid parking in most other times around Montrose.“

“The hubs and I have come here twice. First time we got the steak and burger and a sampler platter. One of the best steaks I've ever had! And he loved his burger. This time we got taquitos and fried okra. I had catfish fillets and baked potato. He had chicken tenders which were hand breaded. So good again. The cooks here take pride in the food. I can't remember our first server but we had Nicole this time and she was absolutely amazing. Friendly and efficient. Made us feel very welcome. Nice bar for great neighborhood eats.“

My only suggestion would be cleaning the bar top a little more often however I do understand there’s only so much one person can do at a time. ?“
