“My husband and I prefer eating at home whenever possible, but we enjoy taking advantage of Houston Restaurant Weeks for a steak dinner at an incredible price. As usual, we went to three places and ordered filets at all three. Our food and general experience at The Capital Grille was by far the best. The staff was exceptional, and the steak was perfect. Incredibly, it was also the least expensive evening even with several cocktails. I don't know how Capital Grille did it, but they made the steaks at Del Frisco's and Brenner's on the Bayou seem sad by comparison. We will visit Capital Grille again even when it's not HRW. And next year during HRW, we will visit Capital Grille three times and cross the other places off our list.“

“My favorite custom orders include: Strawberry mini cakes Vanilla Honey mini cakes Vegan Chocolate cake with raspberry puree in the center Peanut butter cookies Peanut butter pie Chocolate Mousse Pie The cake is so moist and delicious! Also they only use maple syrup, honey, and coconut sugar so I don't feel guilty eating the treats since paleo ingredients are better for the body.“

“We came to pick up Gluten Free bread for my daughter who needs to now be GF. We also prefer eating GF when possible. We had the rotisserie chicken sandwich with house made pickles and a cup of bone broth. BOTH were excellent! They also said they were seed oil free which is a game changer for us. We do NOT eat seed oils as much as possible. The bread has been fantastic also. Its a little pricey but i feel worth it for the quality you get.“

“I don’t eat pork so the Halal pepperoni is my favorite. It taste better than the turkey pepperoni at the HEB so I sneak over here to get my fix anytime I can. The calzones are delicious too. I would just recommend getting light sauce for the New Yorker because it will make the crust too soggy.“

“I love Crave Cupcakes—the taste and quality are excellent. However, I’m really disappointed about the Woodlands location closing. I’ve also had a recurring issue when visiting during the last 1–2 hours before closing. The selection is usually very limited, and many of the flavors I want are already unavailable. I understand that inventory can vary toward the end of the day, but it’s frustrating to make the trip and repeatedly have to leave without getting what I came for. Hopefully, this can improve at the remaining locations.“

“This place is great. The parking lot is small, but the experience is big. I've been a couple times. It's not a cheap date by any stretch, but they apparently do have happy hour pricing that makes a big difference. I'd call ahead if your cost conscious to find out when. The food is fantastic. The service is solid. The portion sizes are on par with fancy/white table cloth style dining experiences. Don't expect to talk out 'full' without dropping a hundred a head. But if you're into experiences, great flavors and reliable service, this is an option I have returned to. The cocktails are tasty as well! I see it more of a date night... especially if you did something you need to apologize for. I will go back.“

“These are by far the best cupcakes in Houston! First of all the shop is adorable and the people are always so nice! Now for the cupcakes! I am a chocolate girl so two of my favorites are chocolate base. They are soft and moist and melt in your mouth. My top favorite is the chocolate vanilla bean. The chocolate cake is so luscious and the thin topping of silky vanilla butter cream melts in your mouth. The real star of this cupcake is that they take the icing and smoosh it into light blue sugar crystals! This gives the cupcake that added sweetness and texture. It’s just so good!!!!!!!! This is a must try! My second favorite is the strawberry truffle! Who doesn’t love strawberry and chocolate? This cupcake is the perfect combination. The luscious chocolate cake topped with fresh strawberry buttercream. You can see the pieces of real strawberries in the icing! I also highly recommend trying their daily fun flavors. Recently we had the bananas foster( so incredible , filled with a Carmel and topped with a piece of dried banana ) and the lemon blueberry pie( so refreshing and comforting) Seriously you will not be disappointed if you try these cupcakes! We drive all the way from spring to get them!“
