5 Best Bar & Grill near Montgomery

“Big Bertha’s Bar & Grill did not disappoint for my first visit there. Brisket was nice and marbled. The ribs were so tasty and juicy. I also tried their sweet corn and fried okra. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Their patrons were also helpful in recommending their favorite eats. On a side note..I had ordered the 2 meat plate. The brisket was a little cold upon arrival but when asked how my food was I informed the owner and he made it right immediately. Will definitely visit this establishment again.“

“You're sleeping on a great wing spot if you're not coming here! The wings (come Wednesdays for Wing & Whiskey specials) are TOP notch. Sauces are great, but the wings themselves are cooked to crispy perfection every single time. The staff is always quick with the drinks and whatever entertainment they have for the night (bingo, dj, sports on the tvs all around) you can usually supplement with a game of pool, darts, or shuffleboard. No smoking indoors, but they have an ample patio area with more tvs, fans/heaters, and a bag toss game to keep you entertained out there, too.“

“Cody assisted me in getting day passes for my visit. He was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable about the resort and would answer questions without hesitation. He was never overwhelmed and always gave his undivided attention. For those who visit and want to start off your trip right, go to him.“

“I love the place, the ambience, the music. I’ve been there for lunch and dinner. It’s a little bit crowded some weekends. I have tried every dish on the menu and my favorites are the Hawaiian burger and the taco nacho. But everything is nice. Also the fish taco. I’ve tried also some drinks and I don’t recall the names but very nice all of them. I enjoy also when weather permits to sit outside with the amazing view of lake conroe. Definitely you need to try. And if you are neighbor of Walden don’t forget to ask for the discount. The staff is also very nice and helpful“

“Our first visit here. Great vibe for local indoor/outdoor bar. Has a nice outdoor seating area. Has good parking. The bartenders were really nice and attentive. You do have to get your drinks from the bar, which is super busy and a lot of waiting. It’s very casual, shorts, t-shirts, flip flop kind of place. There was a live country band while we were there, good music. Very local, seemed like a lot of regulars. Food was good bar food. We’ll definitely visit again.“
