“The restaurant has amazing food and waitstaff, never once have I had anything to complain about this place, however the bar is a different story! A group of us, 3 to 6 every time, have been in several times to listen to the music. The two women working the bar are horrible. They are rude and super slow with your drinks. Many times in one night several of us had to go up to the bar and try to get our own drinks ordered only to be told by the waitress to go sit down and she will take our order there, others went up there to find both outside together smoking and leaving it unattended for customers! I'm sure the owner wouldn't like this. another party there that we didn't know was complaining about it as well, so it wasn't just us. Every time we went in for music (3 times in the last month)was like this with the same waitstaff. No one wants to go back because of this, such a shame as we all enjoyed the musicians. I might add that we didn't have just a few beers, we ordered appetizers as well, we probably would go more and stay longer if the staff in the bar was better.”

We had a young gentleman as our waiter and he knew exactly when we needed something, soon as our drinks were almost empty he was there. Soon as we set down our menus he was ready to take our order. He was on his toes, quick and didnt let his customers wait. I was astounded by his customer service. I don’t remember his name but wanted to express what great service he gave us. And that goes for everyone in the restaurant. They all worked as a team. They each made their rounds, checking tables without constantly asking you if you need something, they seem to watch from afar and know exactly when to come. I was just very impressed. I shouldn’t be. I always hear about their great service. I just wanted to share my experience.”

“I am so happy the original owners are back! We tried their hamburgers the other day for lunch and they were FANTASTIC! They are thick and juicy - we tried the sourdough bun and the jalapeño sourdough bun and both were very good. The french fries that come with it were seasoned very well. It is a really good lunch!”

“My favorite tacos in the area. I have a farm 20 minutes out from Flatonia so I eat here whenever i’m there. But if i’m ever driving towards San Antone or New Braunfels, somehwere out there I make sure to stop off i10 and grab me some Josesitos! Their tacos are amazing and easily accessible off the freeway for a good quality food stop!”

“This place was super busy but the Dairy Queen team did it , food was hot fresh and delish. The person front counter was amazing his name is Jason. Kudos to you for your hard work and patience even when drink station was down temporarily. Jason was calm cool and sincere during our interaction went the extra mile to make sure our experience was pleasant. The rest of the team were also very responsive to our needs.
