“Usually the staff here is odd, but then, Taco Cabana staff has been pretty bad for several years now. Today, even though they got my order wrong, (they usually do. It never kills me) the guy working was adorable. His name was Isaiah, and he had a smile on his face and was very kind. It's so pleasant to go into businesses that have congenial staff. I've been in customer service for MANY years, and I do my best to be kind, so I expect it from places I give my moolah to. I'm not askin' for much... anyway, this dude shld really be working in a much higher end establishment where his excellent customer service will make him a lot more money!Vegetarian options: Black beans and rice are animal free, which is so awesome cuz many places use chicken stock in their rice.“
“Excellent service, the waitresses Susy and Aracely treated us very kindly with whatever we needed, the food was very delicious, a wide variety of meals and desserts and delicious fresh waters. I like to come every week to their great buffet.“
“We were driving through downtown Plano, looking for an adventure, and ready for anything to come our way .. when Mama Vicky's caught our eye. This tiny restaurant had impressive reviews, so we decided to try them. This was a new style of food for us, so we tried several items from their menu. We ordered a Cubana sandwich, chicken Sope, pork Pupas, and a beef taco. Be prepared to wait a hot minute because they make everything from scratch, order per order. Everything was fresh and delicious. Authentic mexican food. What made it exceptionally delicious for us was taking the lettuce, tomato, feta pieces that fell on our plate, and adding that to our beef taco. Oh yum! TIP: There are only 3 handicap parking spaces across the street, no crosswalks nearby, and this is a very busy street! All 3 handicap spots were full when we arrived, and they were full when we left. TIP: Parking is a beast! Be prepared to circle the downtown Plano area and walk a few blocks, especially during busy times. TIP: There are only 7 tables inside. Two tables hold 6+ people, and the rest are 4 tops. No outside seating.“
“Didn’t really care for the steak quesadillas (kids menu) neither did my 13 year old son. Weren’t feeling the cheese. Could have been hotter.Buffalo tacos are pretty good though. The queso on one of our steak tacos was cold and hard by the time I tried to eat it.“
“This place is fantastic. The first time I went, I got the fry bread and dined in, and the food was delicious and fast. Tonight I ordered it on a delivery app, and it holds up- the arepas was warm and flavorful and the cheesecake was sooo good!“
“Good Hand Taco is one of my favorite taquerias in all of DFW. Their tacos are delicious and their pupusas are unbeatable, all of their dishes are always delicious and consistent. Their staff is very friendly and organized. I definitely recommend you visit this place.“
“Amazing service!!Kid friendly, ice cream parlor, lots of toppings!Mundo, tacos, nachos! Carne Asada.Definitely automatic food.Vegetarian options: Veggies TacosParking: Right in frontKid-friendliness: Ice cream candy festiveWheelchair accessibility: Yes“

Oh and FOOD WAS EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! their Borracho beans (learned the act name of them from the guy who cleaned table lol ) are SUPERB they actually have seasoning.“
“Are you a food enthusiast? If so, you would love this hidden gem with multiple locations. Each visit has been a delightful experience that never disappoints. The pork tamales are exceptional, packed with meat that will satisfy your cravings. The soft and flaky torta bread is perfect for the authentic rustic flavor that blends well with the sauce. You must try the quesabirria, which is a delightful combination of a cheese quesadilla and taco. It's a must-have! The owners have made every visit worth your while, with fantastic food that will leave you satisfied. Bring your friends and family anytime, and you won't regret it. Come and experience it for yourself!“
“Really good food. Great service. Nice atmosphere. We purchased enchiladas (with rice and beans), two trompo tacos, and two breakfast burritos. None of it disappointed! In my opinion, the food was decently priced as well. I will definitely be back to try the other menu options!“
“Best torta Cubana I have had in a while, I thought the price was a Lil bit high but when I saw the sandwich it was worth every penny. If your ever off of Dairy and 66 stop stop by and check them out...Kid-friendliness: Every kid in there had a smile on there faceWheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp“
“Bright, clean and casual! Delicious tacos, tamales, menudo eggs rancheros and much more. Full menu is on the website. Really good coffee and beer and carbonated water on tap.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to maneuver between tables and normal ramp from the parking lot.“
“I feel at home here.. knowing that I’m going to enjoy every single bite. The people are amazing .. easy to talk to. Horchata is bomb food is AMAZING… and the salsas are the cherry On top!! There’s a lot of restaurants I’ve gone to and the rice and beans Are always so bland. The rice and beans here are full of flavor!!! This place will never disappoint you!!!“
“The tacos are great. Good size, lots of meat and a fair price. I get the Trailer Park, trashy. The service is fast so even if the line is long it will move. I will say the house rocks margarita was not good. It’s either the mix or way too much lime. I couldn’t taste the tequila at all. My wife and I each got one and left them both. Maybe they can make one fresh or have a different type that would taste better. Over $10 each not worth it. The food is great though.“
“I love that some restaurants still respect and care for their customers and employees. My first time visiting and I have to say it was the best I e seen in a few years. The services is very much welcoming that makes you want to be a repeat visitor. Word of mouth is every nowadays and I could not stop talking about the Loco Asada Fries that we ate them 2 times in that day. And I have to admit I was surprised that in the evening everything was still fresh and hot. I love that. First time and I will definitely be back.“
“Quite a relaxed first visit to Resident Taqueria in Lake Highlands. The upscale tacos were diverse in flavor and there is no shortage of vegetarian or pescatarian options. The escargot was sublime…melted in the mouth with a zesty citrus bite. The duck was equally delicious and my favorite so far. The mushroom fundido was a perfect starter with the hand made tortillas! Definitely returning soon!“
“During my recent visit to Velvet Taco, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my dining experience, compelling me to award this establishment a well-deserved five stars. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance struck a perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, setting the stage for a memorable meal. Thank You Peyton and crew for the awesome dine in experience.“
“Came here to get my annual Roscoe only to discover that they had revamped the recipe and served it in February. ☹️ Just missed it! When the manager came by to check on me, I mentioned my sadness, and she informed me of the change. I was still very happy with my Scallywag, but a few minutes later, she walks out with the newly remodeled Churroscoe from the previous month for me to try! Super duper nice, and an amazing taco! Highly recommend this location! Thanks so much!“
“A little gem right off the highway. The staff are friendly, the taco selection is phenomenal and the food is delicious. Loved my pork belly and fried shrimp tacos, the elote is the best I've ever had and those churros are hot, crunchy and cinnamon so good. Thank you for Easter lunch, highly recommend!“
“Excellent place. Very delicious food. Clean place. The people who serve are very friendly, but the tacos are delicious, the tortilla soaked in its D.F.-type fat. although we know they are from Monterrey but if they are delicious I recommend them 100%“
“one of the BEST taqueria's in the area, great staff, speedy service, i had the birra and it was definitely worth every dollar. Thank you to the staff for making my taco tuesday birthday so delicious and enjoyable for me and my friends!“
“Run to try these tacos, they're literally the best tacos on this side of 75.Didn't skimp on portions and the workers were polite and super fast even though they had a million orders ahead of us . Can't wait to try everything, the trompo tacos were amazing.“
“Food was good overall. Quality and prepared fresh. The plates were styrofoam which was a huge turn off. Number one you can't really cut into those and it's not like they don't have actual hard plates to serve food on cause they had half our order on them. Just odd. For $35 I would appreciate a real plate I don't cut INTO. Still the food was decent (I got pupusas) but not the best I've had (Vickie's was closed that day). My husband loved the burrito but they were out of lengua and tripas. Kind of a let down. Service was very good. The young lady and her mom run the show and they are very sweet. 5 stars for service. Ambiance isn't much to write home about. It's a hole in the wall vibe but I could care less if food and service are good. The downside to the place is the shared bathroom space with a gas station and chicken shack. No toilet paper, no soap, no paper towels and not the best kept. What the heck???? Next time I have to come here it'll be for take out honestly. I still give it 4 stars cause food and service is stellar when you take into account I wasn't the only one rating the food“
“This brunch place is a hidden gem! From great food, exceptional service, nice atmosphere, and many more, this place is my favorite brunch place near this area. Their signature croffle is perfect in taste and texture, you will HAVE to try! Highly recommend this spot??“
“We go here every couple of weeks. They have a super solid Cuban sandwich and the best Horchata around! I always get take-out so I can't comment on the service or atmosphere, but it is in a gas station, which means the food has to be good! It's a rare person who would pick a gas station taco shop for its atmosphere.Great value as well: you won't spend more than $12/person for plenty of food and breakfast the following morning.“
“OMG, the Birria Tacos are slamming delicious!!! Per other reviews, it is located inside a building with other food vendors. When you walk in the front doors, Lujanos is the second food vendor on the right. The staff was super nice, and their areas were clean and tidy. I only have 4 stars on the atmosphere because it's not like a restaurant setting. There are only about 5 seats available in front of their section as well. There is outside seating at 2 tables as long as you don't mind melting in the Texas heat?. I chose to get my order to-go.Overall, if you are looking for authentic street tacos, then Lujanos is for you! Go check em out, you won't be disappointed!“
“Velvet Taco is a standout choice for those seeking a diverse array of vegan options. The customizable tacos cater to a variety of tastes, ensuring a unique and satisfying dining experience. With an extensive selection of chips and dip options, the menu offers delightful twists on classic flavors.“
“So I went here on Friday durning lunch. The place was very clean & the service was great! I super excited because I've been craving a torta. Unfortunately it was not was it. There wasn't much flavor on the chicken. It was just beans, chicken, cheese & avocado. I'm use to my torta having all the fixings like lettuce, onions, crema & real Mexican cheese. I asked for rice instead of fries. The rice over cooked and didn't have much seasoning. I also tried the flautas. Now those were a hit!! I also liked how they are served in a cup making it easy to eat. They were loaded with lettuce crema & queso fresco“
“The food here is pretty good, but there can be language barrier issues sometimes when ordering if you don't speak Spanish. I get that it's a Mexican place in Garland, but usually the front of house is bilingual for English speakers that also want some tasty food. There's a nice spacious outdoor patio to eat at.“
“Love the tacos here. Ever want to find some good, crunchy tripa tacos? This is the place. Hate saying that as it might cause an influx of people.A little small, but authentic. The music is a little loud, for my taste.Definitely now my goto place for tacos and tortas.“
“Had these tacos for lunch yesterday A+!The meat is lean and tender - the tortilla were awesome I prefer the corn one. The rice was fluffy, with the bean were a perfect pair. Had the hibiscus ? water which was refreshing.Coming back for sure“
“Best street tacos around!!! Super affordable and amazing flavor. Definitely recommend the beef fajita, carnitas, trompo, and spicy chicken tacos on corn! The green sauce to put on them is INCREDIBLE too. I went back twice in just 2 days it was that “
“My wife and I just dined here and Scott took our order and while we were eating I noticed a master at work. I don’t know that I have ever seen someone so thorough in every aspect of what he does. Straightening the chairs, wiping each table, cleaning his hands before running food, just amazing care for this restaurant.“
“So I'm always skeptical when it comes to "new" food truck menus... But WOW, was I surprised and overly happy with my decision to try out "Ballsy Food Truck". Not only was the truck clean and neat, the customer service was great and the lady at the counter was so friendly. This is a dynamic duo of greatness. I was one two punched with great food and great people. Price was easy to swallow as well. I would HIGHLY recommend Ballsy Food Truck if you see them.“
“My wife and I were on the road and hungry - I swear an angel guided us into this spot. The portions, the quality of the food, and the friendliness here was so top notch. I got a taco plate and the spicy quesadillas. My god man… I am so sad that I finished my meal and can’t wait to come back and do this all over again. I wish I took pictures of the food but when it came out I was so ravenously hungry that I eradicated every morsel of food from my plate. You could have been convinced I cleaned that plate with soap and a sponge tbh.10/10 great food.“
“Eyes Eat First!Service: 5 Stars. Cashier was patient & provided you with just the right amount of service. Location: In the same plaza as Hiep Thai market & right in front of it. A lot of parking available. Food: Trompo & Asada: Both were delicious! Trompo had a nice juicy crispiness to it. The Asada was served with some melted cheese on your choice of tortillas.Portions? They are quite generous with the portions and one taco can easily be counted as 2.Soup is free & perfect for this cold weather. All in all, glad I found this hole in the wall that is nearby. The other 2 locations is great too!“
“Trompo Tacos have pineapple ! Green salsa has a lil kick to it which is rare very good , sodas are authentic straight from Mexico . The food is mighty good, lot of dishes and meat options not found in other Mexican restraunt very authentic place“
“This taco joint was amazing and the food was delicious ? and customer service was excellent...I love all the old records covers on the ceiling....it's a must see and eat...will for sure bring and tell everyone about this wonder place...✝️???????“
“First time customer, so thankful that the man who took my order was knowledgeable about which sauces had gluten. Wonderful customer service and recommendations. For Gluten free veggie tacos on corn tortillas just ask for no sauce, there's amazinggg flavor even without it, best salsa ? and great atmosphere. Definitely going back ❤️Dietary restrictions: Gluten free isn't on the menu but with minor changes you have so many options, and knowledgeable staff.“
“I usually don’t leave reviews but I started working close by and got recommended this spot and I’ve been going ever since there food , prices ,and customer service all is what makes this place 5 stars I’ve tried everything from the fajita fries to the pizza and all of it is more then good . Had to leave a review this place goes hard ?“
“if i could give it 10 stars, i would!! words can not even begin to describe the savory taste of their dishes. taqueria la chona has always been good, but with the new management, they are even better. food is so delicious, it could be described as the best mexican food in the whole DFW. the staff is super nice as well. this is my go-to place especially with all the useful surrounding places like a bread store and a pharmacy.Kid-friendliness: have all the basic kids foods!! great fries!!“
“My experience at Birria Aguinaga was exceptional. The Birria Quesatacos were flavorful and satisfying, accompanied by a hearty and savory broth. Additionally, the authentic and spicy salsas added an extra kick to the meal, making it truly memorable. If you're in search of delicious birria, look no further than Birria Aguinaga.“
“Great street tacos, amazing price on the combo tacos, plus they have online ordering so I can order ahead. adds almost zero time to my commute to stop and pick up my order. Very clean kitchen, you can see the kitchen from the counter. The prices at the attached gas station are fair as well.“
“I have eaten fish in other places, but the taste of shuquia is too much, but the one at this place exceeded my expectations, good flavor, good size, and above all good price, 100% recommended, there is excellent customer service, without a doubt some became one of my favorite places to eat...“
“We were losing faith in the Mexican food out here. We’ve been searching for a good place and we tried almost every place out here. We finally found the place we’ve been looking for! We got their bistec tacos, quesabirria tacos, trompo tacos, elote, agua de melon and agua de sandia. Everything tasted AMAZING. The tacos were stuffed with meat. The trompo even had bits of pineapple. Their aguas are so refreshing and made fresh. It had bits of the fruits inside and they served it in a big cup. Definitely recommend!!! You don’t understand how happy we are to have found this place.“
“I went here on a Friday night. I guess I beat the crowd ( lucky me). Went to do a meet and greet. We didn’t order any food. Just sat at the bar and had a drink. It was ok. Seems to be a ducked off spot to hang out at. There was a family in here with younger kids. I didn’t know kids were welcome in a sports bar ( don’t judge me ) they have a juke box machine, it wasn’t on while I was here but I was told by the bartender that customers do use it. I didn’t ask if it cost. I’ll update you when I go back.“
“"I recently had the pleasure of dining at taqueria superior, and I was thoroughly impressed! The tacos were bursting with flavor, the ingredients were fresh, and the tortillas were perfectly cooked. I especially loved the tacos which had a delicious combination of ingredients The service was also friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu items!"“
“Tried the trompo & chicken fajita tacos. One on corn tortillas and one on flour tortillas. They were fantastic! It comes with all of the fixings with out you having to ask and its on the side. So you’re able to put as much as you’re wanting in your own tacos. Try the trompo meat it was my favorite!“
“I enjoy coming to this JIB. I show up bright and early five days out of the week and every visit is the same. There's great management, staff and cooks. This building is always clean and full of helpful people who care about their job. A+“
