“**Updated Review** They now offer dine-in, to-go, and have expanded their hours, which is amazing! Their location moved to Fairview and is inside of Revolving Kitchen. We recently dined in a few times. It's inside of a food hall with multiple restaurants to order from. You have to order using the kiosk screen or the QR code. We dined in and tried the chopped BBQ rib loaded baked potato and the chopped rasta jerk meatloaf sandwich. Both were delicious, but my favorite was the BBQ rib loaded baked potato. The sandwich was very spicy (which is indicated on the menu). On another visit we went on Sunday for Soul Food Sundays. My friends and I tried the vegan fried chicken, greens, and vegan chicken n waffles. The vegan fried chicken was very crunchy. The crunch was on point! But I was expecting more for the inside of the vegan chicken and to taste something inside. It was mostly just crunchiness. The greens and waffles were delicious! We were a bit disappointed that most of the menu could only be ordered a la cart (except the chicken n waffles). I'm sure this is just the startup pains of a restaurant. Hopefully being able to order full meals without ordering each food item individually will improve over time. Old review: Vegan Heat definitely brings the heat! I ordered pick up here in October 2023, and it was delicious. I ordered the Jamaican curry chicken and rice and Jamaican rasta jerk meatloaf. The flavors were so good! My favorite out of the two was the curry chicken and rice. I highly recommend this restaurant. Make sure you put your order in early on Doordash because they sell out quickly! Their business hours are currently limited. I hope they are able to expand their business hours and days in the future. Updated from previous review on 2024-11-23“

“This place was great! Tons of options and friendly staff. Got the tofu rolls, eggplant rice dish, spicy royal soup, and a slice of mango cake to go. Everything was delicious, I wish I could have gone back to try more dishes! They also had a small selection of packaged shelf stable vegan food at the front counter. The only downside was that when you are heading into the restaurant, your nose will be assaulted by fish smell from the adjacent market. So be prepared for that on the way in.“

“Finally had some GOOD Indian food ! Had initially tasted their veg dishes when they catered for a friend's puja, and they did not let us down with their chicken dishes either at the dine-in ! Quick service and very tasty food-with spice levels just like we had requested! The appetizers- chicken mo-mos, chilli chicken, chicken lollipops were a big hit with kids and adults! And we were definitely NOT disappointed by the main course we ordered- butter chicken, paneer tikka, achari chicken, methi malai paneer, malai kofta - very tasty and a good quantity too! i usually complain that my throat hurts/i fall sick every time i eat indian outside (maybe becoz of the oil /specific spices).. but i haven't had any issues after eating here... going back soon to try out more!“

“We visited this location at noon, last Sunday and it was PACKED and the drive through was wrapped around as well. Standing room only inside however we managed to get a table and gave ours to an older couple when they were walking in as we were done. Anyway, I just wanted to say our first visit here was nothing short of amazing. All of the employees looked to be younger and they were all so friendly, all had genuine smiles and our service was excellent with a very small wait time. Great job!“

“** CUSTOMER SERVICE ** WARNING!!! We’ve been loyal and highly respectful patrons of Fairview Farms for years. This is a place we’ve proudly recommended to family, friends, and even professional colleagues, hosting everything from casual brunches to business meetings here. Sadly, this last visit has left us questioning whether we’ll ever return. While we've had many positive experiences in the past, this time was deeply upsetting. Tania, our waitress, who was working the counter chose to engage in an unnecessary and public argument over a simple pancake substitution. Instead of handling the situation professionally or kindly, she raised her voice and displayed a level of attitude that was both shocking and humiliating. What made this worse is that we had to de-escalate the situation ourselves by stating we were leaving. Even then, she continued the outburst. Another waiter told her to let us go, saying something along the lines of, "They're never coming back so let them go." That tells you a lot about the internal culture. A kind businessman visiting from Dubai who witnessed the entire exchange was so appalled by her behavior that he offered to pay for our meal and asked us to stay. We initially thought he was the owner based on how sincerely he apologized on the restaurant’s behalf. He wasn’t. But his kindness stood in stark contrast to the employee’s behavior. Unfortunately, we chose to stay and enjoy our meal but it was hard to enjoy. Tania hovered and stared at us throughout brunch, clearly trying to make us feel uncomfortable. So we’re left wondering: Where was management? Why is it acceptable for an employee like Tania to act so confidently rude in public? Her behavior made it clear this wasn’t a one-time thing .. this was someone who feels empowered to mistreat customers with zero accountability. We hope the owner takes this review seriously. Read your reviews, people are complaining about your customer service! If our years of loyalty and word-of-mouth promotion mean anything, we’d ask: why are you allowing this to become your reputation and culture? Our return will depend entirely on how seriously this is addressed.“

“Today met a dear friend for breakfast, my first time at La Casita. I ordered an egg and vegetable hash that was delicious along with a wonderful cappuccino. It was a delight to find a cappuccino with such well proportioned and balanced flavor, a relief from the huge milky offerings so many other places serve. We shared a guava and strawberry filled pop tart, which involved a perfect delicious tender flaky pastry wrapped around a both slightly sweet and tart filling. Our server, Tess, was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us with our selections, and later we were treated by Jesus to a scrumptious seasonal glazed bun. That glazed bun was honestly too good for words, mildly sweet, hint of cinnamon, just oodles of delicious texture and subtle flavor. Obviously, I will return soon.“
