“My friend and I tried this restaurant Saturday night, and we were SO glad we did! Wonderful location, atmosphere, and service! The coconut shrimp and musubi were fantastic! My friend loved the Poke bowl, and they generously accommodated her modification. I ordered the Trio and LOVED it! Highly recommend and hope to return soon!”

“This is great place to get your taco cravings taken care of. I'm big fan of al pastor and I always get them perfect here. The meat for pastor is grilled in kebab like rotisserie which makes it amazingly fresh.”

“Just tried Song La for the first time today. Shirley was so incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic. I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. Plus, everything is made to order and comes out super fresh (that said, don't come in a rush, make sure you've got a little time to enjoy their new spot at The Thicket and hang for a bit). Whether you've had Taiwanese food before and are craving it or just want to try some incredible fried chicken in a cool South Austin spot, definitely give them a try. ❤”

“Korean review: really inexpensive and one of the only places in South Austin to get your Korean food fix. I know other reviews had some service problems but experienced NONE of that. Greeted immediately when walking in, we picked our seats and had multiple staff during our hour and a half stay check up on us even with a crowd of others arriving after us. We got the Kimbap appetizer split it for two (was delicious didn't need anything else like a sauce - perfect on it's own!). I got the beef bulgogi and my friend got the Rock Bibimbap with spicy pork (like regular Bibimbap but in a hot pot!). YALL LEMME TELL YOU THIS WAS SO GOOD. I was having an emotional experience with these flavors. Banchan selection was good too. Got 6 of them and one of them kimchi. I'll be back for take out and eventually try out the Japanese and Sushi portion of the menu.”

“The patio is huge and there is plenty of seating. The food was delicious and a pleasant surprise. They turned on March madness on the outside tvs when requested. The line for a drink can sometimes get long but it moves pretty quick.”

“Well I would say yes & no! Nice place but the way the tables are set up is horrible. There isn’t a stage so if you are sitting at the small tables you can’t see the band that is performing because the higher table are in front. I think that the higher tables should go against the wall where the picnic table is or towards the back and the smaller tables should be up front. There are some people who are unable to sit and the higher tables but are unable to see the band other then that’s it’s a pretty nice place.”
