“The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman behind the counter. He explained what made their burgers special and gave several suggestions in case we wanted an alternative to burgers. We ended up ordering the burger because that's what they're famous for. The burgers are big, but not overwhelmingly so, and they are easily customizable. I recommend adding the grilled mushrooms (if you like mushrooms.) If you're traveling through, and it's on your way, you HAVE to stop. If you're nearby, and it's not necessarily on your way, it's worth it to go out of your way.“

“Apple B is the place to go at 10:45 laid back drank for the stress and a great meal to go home and sleep on the customer service is awesome and great excellent customer service skills I came in got greeted came in. Got to see quickly sat down. Drinks came immediately. “This restaurant has the best burger and fried fish in town. The burgers are made with fresh meat, never a frozen patty. The fish is always made fresh when you order it. They also have chili dogs and chicken fried steak sandwiches. Underrated hidden gem of Texarkana. Prices are very reasonable as well.“

“We stopped here while driving thru’ to Hot Springs. It’s just a quick minute off the highway and SO delicious! All our sandwiches were yummy and the homemade fried and chips were extra good. We also tried the seasonal cupcake and a lemon bar which were good. It’s a great local stop with super nice folks who work there!“

I went to eat there on Saturday and the night staff were very rude and not friendly at all. Cudos to the cook for getting my food right this time. “My wife wanted a quick light lunch before driving home.This Dairy Queen was the first place we saw.I got her a hamburger and sweet ice tea.I wanted ice cream cone.I had forgotten how good an ice cream cone is on a hot Saturday.The mailman makes it his lunch spot. Young kids/adults breezed in and out.Nice spot for a quick meal or an ice cream cone...they will dip it in chocolate too.

I got the hamburger steak with gravy which was seasoned just the way I like, the new potatoes could have had a little more seasoning. “We come to dairy Queen here in Texarkana when we're visiting my wife's family. It's always good. Food is hot and fresh. The crew is focused on their work. It's clean in here.
I had the Hungerbuster JR combo (fries and a medium drink) no onions add mayo/ extra mayo. Good amount of lettuce and tomatoes.

A bit of trivia that you probably didn't know, Dairy Queen's grill food items are different depending on which region of the country you are in. On the west coast the grill menu is different. Yes they had burgers fries and chicken items, but the burgers are very different.
Be careful coming in here when it's been raining outside, the floor is very slippery for some reason. More so than you would expect. I seem to recall it is always that way here every other time we've been here over the years.

“Nice little store with courteous staff. I like that it stays open later then the others nearby like til 1am or later sometimes. He was closing down once when I pulled up he already had the lights off and the window locked, but he opened the window and took care of me anyway. I don't forget that kind of extra service. Oh and this store even has games in it.“
