Baskin Robbins in New Braunfels

“Wow, what a difference compared to Dairy Queen! My wife and I like to take our two and one half year old grandbaby to get ice cream when we babysit. This is generally in the evening. We have been going to the Dairy Queen on Elliot Knox because the other location is so rude and doesnt need our business! Every time we go to this location on Elliot Knox, even though its still a couple hours from closing, they have the bucket with the bleach water out on the floor mopping, trying to get a head start on their closing tasks. Well, it is obnoxious trying to eat with the strong smell of cleaning chemicals. If it was a one off, I would ignore it, but it seems to be the case every time! This time we tried Baskin Robbins, and boy what a difference! The place seemed imaculate, yet there is no hint of cleaning products being used while they are serving customers. And of course all the choices of ice cream! The only minor complaint, and I will still go back, is that tip thing when you pay with a credit card!!!! Why should I tip someone who simply hands a cone over the counter to me? Its not like it's table service! I hate that, and can't help but wonder if they will short you in the future on the size of your cone, if they remember you chose not to tip!!! If they change that I will bump the stars up to five!!!!“

“We truly enjoy visiting this BR Location, primarily due to Alex. Our initial encounter with him occurred in March of '26 when he was mopping the floor and dancing. He was exceptionally kind and humorous. His enthusiasm, sense of humor, and professionalism are remarkable. If I were to own a business, I would be eager to have someone like him on my team. We come regularly.“
