“I stopped in with a friend. New to Denton and obviously we were new. The attendant gave us an intro to Kava and a sample to share with us. Enjoyed the visit a lot and the helpful staff. I never leave tips and I ended up doing so. Well earned.“

“I came in stressed from work for a comfort coffee. I was immediately greeted warmly and offered things not even on the menu. I was even asked to “please stay” when I said it was to go. This place lifted my spirits and I left much happier than I came in. It’s also huge in here, so a great place to meet friends…next time.“

“Espresso Self Coffee Shop is officially my new favorite place!! ☕💛 1. First of all—my coconut macchiato was absolutely AMAZING! I finished it way too fast because it was just that good. Creamy, smooth, perfectly sweet… I’ve already decided this will be my go-to from now on! 2. The coffee stand itself is so cute—seriously, it’s like a little hidden gem. It has such good vibes, the kind of place you want to keep coming back to! 3. And the BEST part? Tisha, the owner. She is genuinely one of the sweetest people I’ve met. She made me feel so welcomed and truly taken care of. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in every detail—from the drinks to the customer service. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you haven’t stopped by Espresso Self yet—go now! You’ll thank yourself later! 💕“

Forgive me for being a little selfish in my suggestions, but it would be cool to have a 12oz option (16oz minimum is too much For me personally) and it would be nice to have coffee served in ceramic cups when having coffee there on premises.“

“Avoca has some of the best iced coffee in Denton. My go to is the iced vanilla latte with oat milk or the TX Bourbon butterscotch iced latte with oat milk. They usually have a decent pastry selection as well. The atmosphere is great for meeting a friend or just relaxing by yourself with a morning coffee. There is an outside patio also. The barista’s are really nice and know their coffee. Highly recommend!“

“This is my favorite Starbucks in Denton. They’re friendly, quick, and get my order right every time. They also seem to be better stocked than other stores. The only reason for 4 stars is that it is relatively loud, between the music and the people—probably not somewhere I’d want to sit down and do work. But definitely good for getting a quick coffee to go!“

“The wife and I came here after a long car ride back from out of town, and let me tell you. If you’ve never been here and like a little pick me up drink definitely ask for Sheena she made a cosmo that is no pun intended OUT OF THIS WORLD good! The service was prompt, police and attentive!
