“Hands down one of the best Chinese food spots on the north side. There spicy edamame is top notch. I normally get delivery but was nearby and wanted to check the place out. There restraint is smaller than most which hit me by surprise but when I went in I was greater with amazing service. There food is rich with flavors and everything taste fresh. I've eaten at a lot of Chinese food places up north but this place takes the cake. It's a must try. (The owner is the chef so you know there is pride in the quality) the waitress is also super nice and helpful definitely ask for recommendations she can help you out :)“

“This is the best Asian spot in town. The food is always good, seasoned to perfection, and piping hot. The egg rolls do not measure up to the quality of the food but the spring rolls are much better. My only complaint is that this place reeks so bad. I’m not sure if it’s sewer or what but I couldn’t stomach dining in which sucks because I love a good Sake.“

“If you grew up in The Woodlands like I did (1983 - present), you definitely know Chef Chan's is the best Chinese food around. When we have family come visit from other states, they always request we "order Chinese food from that one place" while they're in town. The Grogan's Mill Shopping Center used to be its home back in the day, but long story short, it's now at the Indian Springs Shopping Center where Lake Woodlands and Woodlands Pkwy intersect. “I just ordered delivery from here tonight and I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Food was fantastic, much better than most local Chinese food restaurants. They let me substitute whatever I wanted and the delivery man was very friendly. Prices were great too.Would definitely recommend this place.“

“Food was good and hot. Got take out and it was hot and really fast. Restaurant was clean and the hostess was really nice.I ordered shrimp pad thai... what you see here is definitely lacking some ingredients. It was full of shrimp. I ate it because the sauce was yummy and the amount of shrimp was good at this price point.Also, we did order the triple delight, Mongolian style and that was really good. It was spicy but that really good, takes awhile to hit you, spicy. The sauce on this and the sauce on the pad thai is what will have me ordering again because they definitely have some good sauces on their food.“

“Good food and good atmosphere, I decided on takeout and they certainly seemed busy with takeout orders. The woman at the front host stand was extremely pleasant and helpful ( she is a jewel) , my order came out quick and it was very tasty and plentiful. “I really enjoyed the interior of this restaurant as well as the service. The tables were very clean neat and tidy, the colors were mostly gold and red and the cushioning was very comfortable. They had a bar area where you could order alcoholic beverages as pairings. They menu was very wide and consisted of a variety of American Chinese dishes. The food wasn’t too heavy on the flavor profiles so if you have allergies, this place is great as they don’t add a bunch of spices and flavors to their food. ? I have them 3 stars because I enjoy flavors more so than anything when I go out to new restaurants and this restaurant seems to focus on the quantity of food and not so much the flavor. Me and my friend ordered the beef fried rice and vegetable Lo Mein. It’s served family style so it would enough for a family of four to each have a portion. “I eat here many times throughout the year. The food is beyond excellent, the habachi style grill and sushi is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the last time I went here I found the seats torn and the water one of the waitresses served me had a very strange taste to it which I think made me sick the next day for a whole week. Please improve the quality of service. I really love this resteraunt. It's been a family tradition to eat here since it opened many years ago.“

My husband tried the curry shrimp and MIL had a combination dinner. I tried the shrimp and scallops hunan style, it was very good! We also had wonton soup and a side of eggrolls. Kids meal portions are huge! It’s a bang for your buck. Reasonable price and big portions! It was beyond my expectations. “Great service, fresh and tasty dishes, wonderful ice tea and a full menu. I got the Kung Pao Chicken which was delish, my friend ordered the Mongolian Beef. He said it was great. Went there for lunch, and ordered off their lunch special menu. As I said before, there are many choices. Your entree comes with soup, egg roll, cheese puff and fried rice. We both ordered the hot and sour soup wich was very tasty. Overall this place gets five stars. I will definitely return.“

“I would not eat in here as the interior is sparse unless maybe for lunch while working or to get the bottomless iced tea. Food was surprisingly good for the price. The cheese puffs were some of the best I've had. You really can't do better for a Chinese takeaway at this price point. Combos are priced from 5-10 dollars depending on entree. The combos come with entree, fried rice, egg roll and your choice of canned soda. Dinner for 3 people with 2 appetizers was right at $40. Most Chinese restaurants in the area this would get you maybe 3 combo meals and would not include a drink. Everything was well seasoned and very tasty. We will be eating here again.“

“Went in for lunch and had the General Taos Chicken was amazing. There Japanese Cheesecake is also a must have. Lots of variety of flavors on the cheesecakes Chocolate , Matcha, and Original . By far one of the most delicious Cheesecakes I have ever had melts in your mouth.“
