“Our dinner here was excellent. We were able to get a seat right away. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere. I had the jerk chicken, plantains and greens. The jerk chicken was not too spicy and a nice portion. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The greens weren’t your typical greens. They were very flavorful and had pieces of red pepper which gave it a nice taste. The plantains were so good! My husband had the grilled snapper. The snapper was plated beautifully and tasted excellent. The assortment of Caribbean juices was also really fun to try. The Sorrel juice was my favorite, an absolute must. I was impressed with how healthy everything was. The restaurant was also very clean. We will definitely be regulars here.“
“Wow! Just wow!Every dish on the table was completely devoured! The meal was outstanding, from the fried chicken to the shrimp and grits, the Jersey chicken, and the island pepper shrimp. I'd give it 10 stars out of 5 if I could! All the side dishes were so delicious they had us licking our fingers.“

“This restaurant has become a new favorite for me and if you’re reading this review, stop reading now and GO! If you’re still here, let me just say that the chef, Keisha, is fantastic! She is so lovely and already knows my preferences after only a few visits. Every single thing I’ve had has been the best meal I’ve had - until the next time, lol. The DOUBLES are soo flavorful, I love the vegan breakfast sando - the eggs are seasoned to perfection, the house salad with jerk chicken is sending me into a salad craze, and the lo mein is so satisfying. I was drawn by the vegan options and the all day breakfast menu, on which you can really fill up! I’m slowly making my way through the menu but it’s hard because I could eat any one option, repeatedly, and be satisfied. The atmosphere is very welcoming, their customer service is amazing, 10/10, music is a vibe! “Great to visit a Caribbean food restaurant on this side of Houston. All the typical dishes - but a saltfish roti that’s of the beaten track - never had that before. This roti is extremely good. Large portions - enough to take home. Have to try additional fare as time permits.Great hostess and well deserved praise.Visited IF recently. After Covid19, things were a little off. “D’Caribbean - taste of Trinidad !! We indulged in the flavorful Oxtails with rice and beans, a combo of oxtail and jerk chicken, two kids meals and even took a beef patty to go. The generous portions and authentic Trinidadian flavors made this our new go-to spot for Caribbean food!!We were looking for taste from NY/ NJ and this spot satisfied our craving.“
“Hoasis is an authentic Honduran restaurant, you will find traditional dishes but with a unique flavor experience, 100% recommended Hoasis is managed by a Garifuna descendant Obed Norberto who is an excellent chef and a warm person, very friendly and with a lot of charisma, he is the owner but he is always a very humble person and makes you feel at home, and although I am not Honduran you can have an authentic experience of the flavors of this beautiful country, they make you feel at home and the atmosphere is very warm. I recommend checking the Menu for events, you have unique and special dishes. The best of all is that my children love it ❤️“
