“I recently dined at Killen's Steakhouse in Pearland and overall had a great experience. The service was warm and attentive, and most of the food was excellent — from the appetizers to the sides, everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The only real food critique would be the steak itself. While cooked to the right temperature, it lacked the bold flavor I was expecting from a steakhouse of this caliber. As for the service, while our server was wonderful throughout the night, I was a bit disappointed by how the birthday celebration was handled. I made sure to note it on the reservation, and when it wasn't acknowledged during our visit, I asked the hostess if they had seen the note. She confirmed they had, but then came to our table and informed the server right in front of us by saying, “they're celebrating a birthday.” This could have been handled more discreetly and professionally — it took away from what was supposed to be a special moment. Despite that hiccup, the ambiance and overall experience were enjoyable. I'd return, but I hope future special occasions are handled with a bit more care.“

“Our waitress, Teresa, (East Freeway location) got it right! From the moment we walked in, she simply complimented our appearance (yes, I'm a sucker for flattery) and kindly sat us near the fireplace where we requested. She "read the room" with just enough attentiveness as we chatted a bit before we ordered. Without writing a novel, I will just say that she was a delight to engage with as we enjoyed our meal. I have a food allergy and she even seemed to be knowledgeable about the food prep. Her customer service skills were spot-on during our dining experience and I will definitely go back and request her section next time!“

“Second time at this location that I was not impressed by the service. My dad loves Longhorn Steaks so for his 73rd birthday this is where we went. The server was very friendly however when he delivered our steaks he delivered the bill at the same time then never returned again to check on us until we were done. I told the hostess and our server that we were celebrating my dad's birthday. As the server, wouldn't you assume on a birthday that we'd also want dessert? It wasn't even mentioned.
Even if it wasn't his birthday it is incredibly rude to deliver the bill at the same time as the main course and never check on us again. I think we'll be crossing this Longhorn off our list of places to go.“
