“Our first visit to Houston ended with a fabulous Easter Brunch at Guard & Grace. The Churro was huge, sinfully delicious, and enough for (4) to share. The wontons, burratta, and salmon sashimi as appetizers were all recommended by our waiter, and he was 100% right! All were mouth-watering delicious! We all had the steak & eggs for brunch as another recommendation, and again, BRAVO! Highly recommended restaurant. Great location, valet parking, beautiful decor, and great service. The decor reminded me of the now closed Four Seasons Restaurant in NYC A Very High-end establishment. Thank you.“
“My sis and I had dinner for the first time here on a Friday night. We didn't have reservations, but were able to sit at a table near the bar. It was hands down the best dining experience that we've ever had. Chef Marco and the team made us feel very well taken care of; the food was absolutely amazing; and the ambiance of the restaurant was great. We indulged and tried quite a few dishes—and everything was excellent! Looking forward to going back again soon. Highly recommend it!“
“I had dinner at Steak 48 last night a with a friend. Our server, I believe his name is Mark, was great. His knowledge on the menu and the history on the different types of steak, is incredible. We really liked him. I ended up ordering the Japanese Wagyu, the 9oz. They prepare a certain way, for you to have a similar experience has it’s done in Japan. The chef slices the steak to thin slices and it’s so tender it can be cut with your knife, he says. He then said he would keep an eye out to bring me another hot plate as I was eating to avoid the meat from getting cold. Ok, great. That didn’t happen, and he forgot my friend’s wine. Granted, he was very busy and had multiple tables. My friend ordered the Australian steak. 8oz. (We both agreed was better than mine). I was full, took the rest of my steak home, and as I’m eating it now, notice that there’s so much fat, more than actual meat. I noticed last night but thought, surely it’s just a little bit. Nope, it’s a lot. I’m just surprised because of the quality we expect and we definitely pay for that. I believe they charge $40 per ounce of meat? Can you imagine, a lot of it being fat? I don't eat that. He did bring us dessert on them, and that was for the other mention. That was my only disappointment.“
“Didn't get enough pictures of the food. It was absolutely delicious. Had a good pre-valentines date. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The server was so knowledgeable. We had a nice aged ribeye - it was huge and we shared it. Highly recommend.“
“Awesome evening! Table location was perfect in wine room - great ambience. Issac was excellent server - figured out our desired pace and met it perfectly. He was attentive, available, very knowledgeable, and (importantly) very friendly. Steaks were cooked perfectly, served sizzling, and the sides were delicious (and massive). The cheese cake was - well, Pappas' cheesecake - and delightful - probably qualifying for sinful! Costs are a little pricey, but in line with comparable cuisine and, may I say, WORTH IT! Totally look forward to next time!“
“Had a wonderful time with my wife celebrating our 8th year Anniversary. Food was amazing. The potatoes and duck fat are a must. It goes so well with the steak and lobster mac and cheese. For dessert please go with the bread pudding (croissant)“
“This is my favorite date night spot! They never disappoint and always treat us right. Their customer service is top notch and their food is always delicious. Managers are always there to make sure everything is up to expectations and we leave happy and full!“
“We went to Roka to celebrate a new job! It's one of the date night/special occasion spots in our rotation. The ambiance and decor is nice, service is great, but the food really steals the show. Top tier! Everything I've had is phenomenal!! The crispy fried squid, Robata grilled octopus, and sweet corn you MUST try. All AMAZING. The cheesecake desert is insane, completely delicious. To be honest though everything we have had there is good. The prime ribeye, the sushi rolls, the pork belly, the wagyu beef dumplings, and the yuzu miso black cod, yellowtail are all amazing and in rotation. Also If you enjoy a cocktail they have this Margarito with Tajin that is solid! I'm picky so not easy to please. Roka is top tier.“
“A great experience for our anniversary. From the host, the server and the manager, they made the experience memorable and beyond the expectations. Overall a great touch to making our milestone enjoyable and worthy of considering Eddie Vs for other future occasions.“
“I visited Juliet with my best friend for my birthday and I had a great experience. The food was amazing, and the customer service we received from Dwayne at the bar was exceptional! He was very attentive and took great care of us. Thank you, Dwayne!Parking was valet only, just FYI.“
“Nesh was our server and went out of her way to ask the manager Marc about an item that was no longer on the menu. He was able to create the dish and bring it to our mom for her dinner. It made her experience that night even more special. That’s called good old fashioned customer service!!! Thank you Marc and Nesh.“
“We decided to try Lynn’s since it was up the road from us, and hadn’t tried it before. We were celebrating our 3 yr anniversary! I made a reservation for a Tuesday evening, and our experience was beyond anything we could have imagined. The staff was incredibly welcoming, surprised us with champagne, and a delicious dessert at the end of our meal, and even a sweet card signed by the entire staff. Aside from that incredible experience, the food was DIVINE. Everything we ate was INCREDIBLE. From the lobster bisque, to the filets, a delectable blue cheese sauce, and the bacon lyonnaise potatoes and parmesan brussel sprouts. Everything was absolutely amazing, and the ambiance was beautiful. We had such an amazing time, and will certainly be back. Thank you Lynn’s Steakhouse!“
“We are regular customers. Usually everything is consistently good with food and service but today the young lady greeting guests at the host stand was awful. She was probably new and she was not friendly or smiling at all. I can appreciate a new employee but it does not take training to be friendly and smile with people arriving for dinner. I did not get her name but she was the host greeting people Wednesday evening March 6th around 6:00pm.“
“1st time in Houston/Pasadena, Yolanda & Antonio made our experience Exceptional! They went above and beyond to make sure my daughter's dietary restrictions were met and exceeded. We had a lovely dinner. Everything was delicious. Antonio was great, attentive and Handsome. Thanks for everything❤✨“
“Had my first dining experience here this past weekend! I am such a big foodie and I love Korean barbecue, but KARNE Really took it to another level! Their drinks were amazing, Service was phenomenal.. We damn near didn’t have to feed ourselves ???We enjoyed every single meals that we ordered.. !The Restaurant is so pretty! The music is great really beautiful for a date night if you want to dress up?This is definitely our new favorite spot for our girls dining!“
“The group sat outside on the patio since it was a nice day. The front staff sat us quickly and let us chose the table we wanted. (it was early). The waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and patient. The food was amazing. Those that ordered the stake were very happy, the fish order was perfect and beautiful, and the veggie pasta was unique and delicious. We ordered the asparagus and lobster bisque for the table and unfortunately we did not leave room for dessert.Vegetarian options: Veggie pasta was amazing.“
“It was my 1st time to this location, but 2nd time overall to Perry's. Overall it was a great experience and very delicious food. Our waiter, Victor, was great to top it all off. Great person in general, great conversation, and great waiter. Would definitely back for the food but also to request the service from Victor specifically. He made my wife and I feel welcome and conversed with us genuinely.Parking: Plenty of free parking along with a valet service.“
“Before I start when you go there you got to get bree to be your server me and my wife had a blast because of her know let's get to the bad the price of the food is worth it the quantity of food that you get is a joke I walked up out of there hungry the drink is all so so grate but I will be Back and I'm gone need a little more food for these prices.“
“My friends and I flew to Houston from DC for a "Houston Hoedown" birthday celebration at the Rodeo. It was our first time in Houston, but I connected with a colleague who recently moved there about a birthday dinner recommendation, and she mentioned Bungalow. I was able to easily make a reservation online for the 5 of us and mention that we were celebrating a birthday dinner and that there was also a seafood allergy in our group. Prior to arrival, the staff reached out to confirm our visit. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the handsome doorman and then again by the hostess who offered us complimentary champagne. Since we were new to the city and unfamiliar with the traffic patterns we arrived about 30 minutes early but were still promptly seated and both the seafood allergy and birthday celebration were acknowledged without us having to mention either. The restaurant is larger than it looks online, and it is beautifully decorated. The music playlist had us all rocking in our chairs and smiling and singing. Then Alejandro came over to our table and elevated the dining experience even more. He gave us great drink and appetizer recommendations and was knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered Heartbreakers a Lemondrop and another tropical drink that I can not remember the name of. All were good, although in full transparency the Heartbreaker was a little tart for my liking- but that is a preference thing. For food, we ordered NY Strip's and the Chicken dish, then two salads, and one order of mac & cheese, brule corn, brussle sprouts, and mashed potatoes. The food was literal perfection. It was so flavorful and presented beautifully, and each side was large enough for 5 grown women to share with some leftover. As a final treat, Alejandro brought out a sparkling birthday dessert and sang Happy Birthday to our friend. Service at this establishment is honestly TOP TIER. Everyone we encountered was great, and the doorman even took a group picture for us as we were leaving. Definitely add this to your list for a good dinner experience while in Houston.“
“This was an excellent experience. The service, presentation and attention to detail were superb. The drinks and the food were outstanding. A meal to remember is the summation of my dining adventure here. If I were closer, this would be put into a rotational basis.“
“Great steak house! My wife and I came here for a date. She had the filet with king crab and I had the ribeye. Both excellent steaks! We also tried our hand at their wagyu toast which was also pretty good. A bit on the pricer side, but the atmosphere and the service was excellent.“
“Wow, what an incredible dining experience! The atmosphere at Genesis Kosher Steakhouse was warm and inviting, with exceptional service from start to finish. But the real star of the show was the food - every bite was tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. The kosher certification only adds to the peace of mind, knowing that the highest standards are being upheld. My steak was cooked to perfection, and the sides were creative and delicious. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu! If you're looking for a top-notch kosher dining experience, look no further than Genesis Kosher Steakhouse. 5/5 stars, hands down!“
“Definitely will be back….. For a last minute reservation they did the damn thing !!!! I would say maybe because we were almost the last patrons of the night food could have been a little more fresh but honestly ambiance and drinks are a win….. loved how they split the 22 oz since wifey does not eat much… Thank you for making it a special date night we will definitely be back…. Must Try their old fashion is to die for…. Bartender knows what he is doing!!!!“
“Food was delicious! Anthony our server was great! We did have to wait over 20min for our table even though we had a reservation but it was not their fault. The place is small and it was busy. The biscuits and pork belly are a must for the appetizers! The spicy cucumber margarita was exceptionally tasty too!“
“My steak was sort of tough for a ribeye but other than that, it was great. Lobster was real good but you never get a big enough lobster, right? The wait staff was really good and the service was excellent. We sat in the bar and the atmosphere was lively and fun.“
“I had a business lunch there recently. I haven't been to Saltgrass in 30 years, but it was just as good as I remember. The patty melt was juicy and delicious, and the Caesar salad was fresh, green and tasty. The server was easy to talk to and very attentive, ensuring our needs were met throughout. Now that I am back in town, I will be adding this to my standard lunch rotation.“
“This place was amazing from start to finish. The food was phenomenal. I had the king crabs with mushrooms and some sort of potatoes. My date indulged on some sort of oyster dish. He said it was amazing as well. Everything was delicious. Talia our service was very knowledgeable and on point with her service. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be returning. Thanks Georgia James!“
“What can I say about this Great Restaurant. On a Scale from 1 to 10 this place takes an 11 in my book. This time I tryed the Steak & Shrimp plate great choice guy's. ?Parking: Plenty of parking and they have a security guard driving around non-stop.“
“I'm a regular customer of Longhorn Steakhouse, usually every Sunday morning. My favorite waitress is V she always takes care of me and she knows my order by heart. I ordered my normal and 8 oz sirloin butterflied baked potato and a salad. I eat half take the other half I take home always. This Sunday morning , I go to the restroom I come back and my table's cleared. V ask what happened I said I don't know, she said I'll be right back. She comes back with the manager who told me he cleared the table because he thought I was done. Mind you a full baked potato a little more than a half a steak and bread, full glass of tea, but you thought I was done. He offered to make another steak and take it to go I said okay I waited 15 more minutes and I didn't cause a scene, things happen. Later on that evening I go to eat my food and this is what I received... a large box with a Slither of steak with a hole in it and a potato. Are you serious you make the mistake and throw my food away and this is what you give me to replace my food!! This is absolutely unacceptable!! Below I've shared the pictures of how he replaced my meal. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. I was Furious when I saw this!! It looks like somebody's left overs but they weren't mine. Absolutely unacceptable, there is no excuse for this! And I haven't been back since. Unbelievable???“
“Arrived at the place 5 minutes before closing since we are traveling for work and could not get there earlier. The staff welcomed us and the order came really fast. One of the best Ribeyes I've ever had. Nice cold beers and a great atmosphere. What else can someone ask for!“
“A wonderful experience at Toro Toro. We ordered the filet mignon medium rare and my son said it’s the best steak he’s ever tasted. We also loved the lobster mac and cheese! My cocktail arrived in a glass bottled and was poured into the glass. Our server (I wish I could recall his name) was the most astute and professional server ever. He was on point and showed interest in my son’s basketball team. We also enjoyed breakfast here. The host staff was so friendly both times. I cannot say enough good things about this place!“
“We arrived for an early dinner on a Sunday and were immediately seated. Shortly thereafter, the waitress took our drinks orders and delivered them quickly with a carafe (big plus). Typically, they allow us to exchange a salad for another side, but not this time. Is that a new policy?Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for accessibility was available“
“Absolutely excellent service and outstanding food. The location in River Oaks is very small and the bar is right in the center, with TVs playing, so you kind of feel like you're in a bar rather than a nice restaurant, so I like the atmosphere at other locations better.“
“I went here with my sister for her birthday and we really enjoyed it. We did not have a reservation but we went around the time they opened on a weekday. The manager was nice and we were able to dine quickly with no wait. Our server was very nice; he recommended the deviled eggs. I don’t really like deviled eggs but theirs are delicious. This is a great place to go for a date or special occasion.“
“My order was not correct and when I asked if they could fix it they were very rude about making the changes that I initially requested. The order receiver needs to learn how to follow directions or read your order correctly. The food was great and the atmosphere seemed nice. I placed order to go.“
“Saltgrass is expensive, but the food and service are excellent at the Houston restaurants. (Skip the one in Odessa. It's just overpriced. We haven't tried the one in Midland.)Their steaks are always good. And their salmon Oscar was great. The fried asparagus are really good. And the cheese for the broccoli is well worth the extra 99 cents.“
“In a world where so many young people are looking for a quick paycheck and not necessarily the career, it's easy to go and get frustrated when you go out to eat. But today I was met by an amazing Host who took the time to ask a lot of questions and relay those answers to my waiter. The young man was very polite and paid attention to every detail. The meal was amazing.“
“Filet medallions were excellent but either the sauce or potatoes were too salty. Service was a bit slow for a business lunch and I do feel it's a little overpriced. Overall, a nice, relaxing place to discuss business or celebrate a special lunch.“
“I used to eat at Logans once a week when they had locations everywhere. The one I mostly went to was up in Lewisville. It was so good! I would choose it over Texas Roadhouse. We went to this Logans, and it was not that great. The service was good and it was clean, but the food was not very good. I was disappointed for sure.“
“This was amazing, different reviews here and there. But go experience it yourself, my server was Justin (I didn’t get a last name) but he was quick and picked up on our table, was very polite. Our food made it to our table very quickly and was delicious, I’ve eaten a lot of BBQ Ribs… But these were something else the ribs were just perfect 11/10 for them. Our service was so great we even talked to the Manager and she was extremely polite, talkative and nice. The environment was beautiful, everyone was nice, warm and welcoming. Overall 20/10 place, I highly recommend going and experiencing it yourself.“
“wow wowWhat a restaurant, what an atmosphere, what service and what delicious food.A true Texan experience. As a tourist, it was my dream to eat a good steak in Texas.Indeed, my dream has come true in a big way.I ate a 22oz T-bone, delicious, made just the way I like it.The rest of my family ate and enjoyed it very much.It is worth mentioning the employee Rosie who served us the food with a big smile, patiently answered all our requests.Chef Roger, came to my table after I asked to see him and thank him in person.A very nice person.Highly recommend and with a lot of love to come to this branch.Parking: Large parking lot on the left side of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is at sidewalk level.100% accessible“
“Work group diner at Perry's. I was very impressed by the service, considering the number of private rooms they have, food was very good, way too much in my plate for my european standard but they provided take-aways to avoid wastes. Thanks for this very good time.“
“You know you’re in for some delicious food when you walk through these doors. The staff is always friendly even when it’s packed on a Friday night. I don’t think I’ve ever had a meal I didn’t like here. From the ribeye steak, to the ribs to the fried chicken. And don’t get me started on those rolls. They used to have barrels of peanuts everywhere but understandably they did away with that after the pandemic. They also used to have the wait staff do a line dance from time to time but maybe I’ve just showed up at the wrong time recently. My only complaint is that they aren’t open for lunch. Definitely one of my favorite spots.Parking: They are always busy so you may have to park on the backside of the restaurant.“
“The crème de la creme. The best restaurant in Houston. While it has been going downhill since I was a kid (no more lemonade, salad shrinks more every time I go, the Hawaiian cost an extra dollar each month, outrageous wait times, staff less courteous to younger patrons, and getting rid of normal mash potatoes is a crime) it is still the best at its core. Making the juiciest and most delicious ribeye I’ve ever had. Still searching for a place to get me to change over to another ‘favorite restaurant’ since the writings on the wall that this restaurant will eventually remove everything that makes it special. But for now I can’t deny its greatness.“
“6 oz sirloin was flavorful and very tender. Loaded baked potato was huge and delicious. Fresh veg were steamed crispy, just right. Yummy green beans and chili. Ribs were delicious and big portion. Service was great, everyone super friendly and efficient. I loved the online wait-list, texting status. Only waited about 7 min for a table on a busy Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Highly recommend.“
“Ayoola was our server and was amazing! She was very attentive and took extra good care of us on our 15th wedding anniversary date. We hadn’t been here in years, was wonderful to come back, we will definitely be coming back again soon! Thank you Ayoola!“
“Definitely not the best Brazilian restaurant that I've tried in Houston. The salad bar is very limited, not bad but it could be better, meat was good , well seasoned and grilled perfectly. The restaurant is beautiful, but it's too dark, I had lunch there but I believe it might be better for dinner. Cheese bread is not good. The service is great, there is one Brazilian speaker and he was very kind and gentle with me and my husband. We've paid 50 dollars each, a good price for churrasco Downtown.“
“I had the absolute best service by my server ANDRE I couldn't of asked for a better experience, he was very attentive and i never needed anything because he had it there before i could even ask for it. For future visits I'll always ask for ANDRE 10/10 server.“
“I mean everything here is just perfect. Atmosphere with rich history of athletes and the city, service and food. Prices are high but it’s obvious the quality of the food is exceptional. I would eat here at least once every month. The salad bar is fresh as it gets, meat is as quality as it gets and cooked to perfection at medium rare. I highly recommend this place“
