We dined there Saturday night. We sat at the bar and admired how elegant the restaurant is. Chris and Jeff took great care of us with outstanding Martinis and perfect service. We also met Eric, the manager who gave us a guided tour of the restaurant. It is amazing. He told us he makes a point of going to every table to chat with the guests and he did that. We watched. A standout in the hypercompetitve Houston steakhouse landscape. Not sure how one can differentiate from the many great options but King did it. New favorite spot.
There are 2 separate areas for this restaurant. We sat on the primary side which is more intimate to me as the tables are closer together. The other side appeared to be more spacious and spread out and they have some amazing rooms for private booking as well. I ordered off the restaurant weeks menu and got the meatballs as an appetizer, the traditional salad, the filet 6oz and the butter cake. Everything was great.
