“We used the Houston Restaurant Weeks menu. Everything I ordered was fantastic! The skewers and pork belly appetizers were tender and tasty. We all had the filet which was very tender. We also ordered Mac and cheese from the main menu. I'm not a fan of Mac and cheese, but this was better than any I have had before! I had the carrot cake which came warm and was very moist! It was a perfect ending to my meal. Our waitress, Caitlin was terrific! We can't wait to go back!“

“Danny, our server, was the absolute best! He checked on us frequently and took care of us very well. He was fun to be around. The food was good, but not perfect. The clam chowder was not hot. The crab boil was probably overcooked since the crab did not come out easily. There was also 1 cluster that was old (like skin was soft and meat tasted off). They gave us a taste of one of their appetizers which smelled amazing. The rest of the food was good and plenty.“

“It was a good experience with the service and atmosphere. A couple of things that didn't work out for me was the sizzling beef dish which was so sweet. I wish I had the option of having it a little more savory and spicy. Also there were just too many cashew nuts in there. Which then reduced the quantity of beef.
The other thing has to do with the dumpling, we ordered chicken steamed and man they were so tiny. I was a little disappointed, and it was an odd number of 5 for 6 + something dollars. That's expensive dumplings. Also the soy sauce on the side could have been better without the sugar. Why is everyone obsessed with sugar. Lol. But overall, a great experience for me and family.“

“We came late afternoon on a Saturday so it was pretty quiet. We were seated immediately, our server Devon was great! Appetizers came out quick and everything was delicious. The onion rings are YUMMY and the portion was huge! We didn’t order any wings, but all of our entrees were really good. The margarita shrimp tacos are highly recommended with the bacon cheddar burger coming in a close second. Beer was cold, tea was sweet and we will definitely be back!“

We had a large order that we traveled from Baton Rouge to get, it was ready on time, cooked correctly, and had that perfect grease soaked, crunch. “Today was a nice day and I decided to go to Mikkis for my Seniors dinner. When I arrived a staff member opened the door for me. Then the lines was not jammed. My order was placed and the staff were prompt in responding. The turkey wings are fall off the bone good. The gravy is just the right consistency. The mashed potatoes are so creamy and delicious. The cabbage is fresh and sweet as candy. The yams, my goodness, can anyone do yams like this restaurant. Absolutely not. The cornbread is such a good texture, it is almost like cake. The staff has changed to a more friendly and polite team. Always enjoy my visits here.“

“Quick Friday dinner. Waitress was friendly and checked on us often. Ordered egg plant parmigiana and lobster ravioli. Had good flavor. Lobster raviolis after a while the richness of the sauce began to taste salty. The Brad brought to the table was mediocre. We had also ordered the artichoke and spinach dip - way too much cheese and not enough spinach. We did have ask for a wine list. We may return but it may be our back up dinner plan place to go to. The restaurant is cute and all but rather crowded and tables are rather close to each other.“

I had Chicken Saltimbocca which turned out to be the BEST Italian dish I’ve ever had— anywhere! The atmosphere was outstanding, the service was impeccable and this dish was mind-blowing. “Their staff will go way more than above and beyond. I lost a ring and I talked with an employee and told him I felt that I had lost it in the men’s restroom after washing my hands. He not only went and looked but, since it was close closing time, he went in and rummaged through the hand rag disposal can, trying to find my ring. Unfortunately, he did not find it but, this was definitely way beyond the scope of his employment but he did it anyway. This is the kind of service you can expect. “I was here for lunch on Sunday 02-16-2025. It wasn't very busy, so I was seated right away. I didn't appreciate my location near the entrance to the restrooms, since there were no odors, I didn't make a fuss. My waiter Issack was very courteous and helpful. The restaurant section that I sat in appeared clean. I ordered a house salad with white vinegarett dressing. The wild west shrimp, and a house margarita. Of course I was served warm bread and butter. Everything was good, the food, service etc.

Christina usually is our server and she is great, but she was not working that day and Savannah did a great job serving us. We like all the servers there and we go there a lot and feel like we are with family. Always enjoy the food and company.“

“Red Robin has a good selection of different type of burgers and they do have great fries. The staff is very hospitable and friendly, the only con to me is their prices. Kinda sorta high when you're on a fixed income but still good.“
