“I hail from Seattle, home to some great Pho and the weather dictates one eats it quite often so I've had my fair share. But this pho spot blows all of them away. The menu is simple but the flavors are complex, balances and absolutely delicious. The broth is salty, meaty, and umami. The meat is tender and the noodlea are fresh. “Best Asian restaurant in the Austin area hands down. I have been to this restaurant over a dozen times. If I lived closer, there is no doubt that I would go even more often. Growing up in Houston, I was spoiled with a plethora of Asian options throughout Chinatown. Despite Austin being severely lacking when it comes to Asian options, Tan My is up there with the best options in Houston. It's flat rice noodles stir-fried might actually be the best that I have ever had. You can really taste the wok in the dish. You would be really hard pressed to find a place that does it better. The fact that it remains open after decades is a testament to its quality and taste.“

They know just where I prefer to sit, that I need a fork for my pho noodles, extra bean sprouts/cilantro/thai basil, ice water, a bag when I'm done. Perfect if you want to try something new, but aren't a food daredevil.Wheelchair accessibility: Great ramp and front door access, navigating a wheelchair would be pretty tight quarters inside, but plenty of room outside. The bathroom can accommodate a wheelchair, and has decent handrails, but again, it looks like it would be a little bit of tight quarters for the wheelchair. The sink in the bathroom can be used with one hand.“

Alejandro was amazingly helpful in making the situation right. I am so glad I ended up in this place! My wrap was amazingly declicious with the Chitpotle Shrimp and Jalapeño Avacado dressing!Management take note, this place was the cleanest one I have visited, the staff were friendly and relaxed and super helpful, and last but not least, the ingredients were fresh and the price was very reasonable for healthy fast food!Please give Alejandro and his female staff a raise, they deserve it!I'll be back when I'm nearby!! ? “
“We have been coming here for years since the old place down the street. Great vibe with good amount of TV’s and nice bar. We loved the La Frontera oysters, gumbo darnit I didn’t get a pic, and large catfish plate! Oh and what goes better than that with a great selection of nicely priced draft beers. “Yesterday for lunch we went to Salata.. we have visited Salata a lot of times before and is our go to summer place for salads. I just love Salata for the versatility and the amount of fresh ingredients you can put into your salad. For protein they have chicken, falafel and avocado. They all are really yummy. My husband usually tries chicken here. He says it’s good. I always get falafel for protein source.Basically first you select if you want a small salad, large salad or wrap and then choose what you want in your salad or wrap. You can choose from nearly 20 to 30 different veggies. Then choose your protein source , nuts. They also have a side of chips or croissant.“

The delivery person got lost but was able to just meet her out front to bring her to the right building. Great response from their manager, Jhony Vargas for helping me with the receipt issue.“

“Sound the alarms! Alert the fighters! This place for sure, is on fire!!!!! I ordered over the phone 30 minutes before closing time and was definitely expecting to get cussed out..... that did not happen!! Upon entry the shop keeper actually look happy to see me, maybe so she could finally go home, as I was the last idiot to order that late. But my delulu self thought it was because she was genuinely just happy to see me and she truly loves her job. Whichever reason be true, she was friendly and warm. We even had a whole plant lovers conversation about the two potted orchids at the front door. No rush! No worries! And no cussing for calling so close to close. Sounds like Grade AA customer service to me! Unlike most types of cuisine, with Chinese, I feel like the dirtier the establishment, the better the food. Super China proved this theory wrong. The restaurant is bright, simple, and extremely clean from what I could see. I ordered my food to go so I can't tell yu if the tables or clean and the menus aren't sticky. But everything I touched was spotless! Which can not be said for every quick order take out food spot, that's for sure. The food was phenomenal!!! Most places put carrots and peas in their fried rice, in the south, but I'm used to Ben sprouts, spring onion, and scrambled eggy bits. I asked to add bean sprouts and eggs and I didn't get cussed out y'all! That has got to be a record. the egg foo young patties were sumptuous and thick, perfectly textured, and seasoned. Even without the brown sauce the Pattie's themselves tasted so good. So once I added my custom order fried rice, and topped with the juicy chicken patties, all that was left was garnishing. The brown sauce that came with the order was in a lot smaller of a container than I would have expected but it was so viscous and concentrated that a little went a LONG WAY!!! I added chopped onion and cilantro just to be boujie and add some more color to the plate, bu it was totally unnecessary flavor wise because this dish held it down, on its own. Everything was so good, I had to stop myself from getting seconds, especially that late at night. However, and much tiny surprise, everything reheated really well the next day and didn't lose its texture or taste! I just moved to Austin from Dallas from chicago. And when I tell you good Chinese food is hard to come by, GOOD CHINESE IS HARD TO COME BY!!!!! Super China you all did the thang!!“
