This is the best BBQ around. The brisket was the best I've ever tasted. The J*** Chicken was fabulous and the Hog Bites were wonderful. The service can't be beat.
My wife and I tried Willie Meshack's BBQ for lunch today. It's near Central Market in Plano and clearly stands at the top of all BBQ joints in Plano! We ordered 1/2-lb of sliced brisket--tender, moist, flavorful, passed the pull test, had great bark and smoke ring. Also ordered 1/2-lb of their pork ribs--similarly tender, tasty, expertly cooked, and great bark. Was looking for an authentic Texas bbq place and I found it here at Willie Meshack's BBQ! Delicious food and I'm ready for a second visit before I leave town. They have lots of sauces that have great flavor. Nice people, big space for large parties and love that it's been around since 1978. Looked like it is family owned. Tasty food for a great price.
