Most shops in Red Oak were closed but RedOak Donuts open sign shining like a beautiful star at 5:20am. The service was phenomenal. “I stopped by Vintage Donuts and picked up a dozen sprinkle donuts for the kids—their favorite! Personally, I think $21 for a dozen donuts is a bit steep, but I guess that's just the cost of inflation these days. That said, the attendant was incredibly kind and threw in a free bag of donut holes and a cinnamon roll to make up for the price, which was a really thoughtful gesture.

I also grabbed some kolaches for my brother-in-law, and he said they were delicious—plus they’re all beef, which was a nice bonus. The kids loved their donuts, my sister enjoyed the cinnamon roll, and overall, it made for a great breakfast for our family.

The shop has that charming, mom-and-pop feel, and the service really stood out. Despite the price, everything tasted great and the experience was positive. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try!“

“A lovely couple owns this business. I came in to get donuts for my class since it's finals week, and they were so quick and sweet. A dozen and a half donuts is a very great price honestly ($22). This reminded me of my favorite donut shop before I moved and I will be coming back here.“

“I will only buy donuts from here when the owner is there. Today, the owner wasn’t there and I never knew how much her friendly presence makes a difference. I just spent $27 on donuts and coffee and because the lady that is there doesnt listen to her customers and is belittling, I want to throw these donuts in the trash and never return. “I worked here for 6 months and I can honestly say this has been one of my favorite jobs ever. Most people here are very friendly, although you do get your hangry ones. For those that tip tipped well. I also loved working here because I got to practice speaking spanish to those who didn’t know english. This position is perfect for a summer job or to make some extra money while in school which was my case, although I will say it never hurts to carry some pepper spray or a stun gun with you since your working hours start at 4:30 am.“
