“Picture it Christmas morning having to go to work. Nobody wants to work on Christmas, but alas some must. Most shops in Red Oak were closed but RedOak Donuts open sign shining like a beautiful star at 5:20am. The service was phenomenal. I'm not sure if the gentleman was the owner or not, but he was absolutely the best. Donuts were as fresh as you could ask for. Absolutely will come back. Highly recommend. “It's the premiere donut place in the area. I didn't believe the reviews at first but let me tell you. Once you place one of those donut holes on your mouth you need to grab ahold of a nearby counter to keep yourself steady. They are so good I can't relate the feeling that ensues on this review, but you may need a cigarette afterwards. Just saying...“

Personally, I think $21 for a dozen donuts is a bit steep, but I guess that's just the cost of inflation these days. That said, the attendant was incredibly kind and threw in a free bag of donut holes and a cinnamon roll to make up for the price, which was a really thoughtful gesture.

I also grabbed some kolaches for my brother-in-law, and he said they were delicious—plus they’re all beef, which was a nice bonus. The kids loved their donuts, my sister enjoyed the cinnamon roll, and overall, it made for a great breakfast for our family.

Then there is the portion size - Bigger portion size than the ones down the street, more product for your money, and last, but certainly not least is customer service. I have never felt so welcomed in a place these days. This couple is super nice, friendly, outgoing, hard-working, and all out spectacular customer service which you certainly don't find these days. I don’t get all these negative reviews of “cold” sausage rolls. Tell me where you can get “fresh” and “warm” sausage rolls that were made on the spot. Even if they were made 30 mins ago, it’ll be cold before you know it! They even have a microwave (on the left when you walk in) for customers to use. If you want your sausage rolls warm, reheat them in the microwave that was provided! I know that some people just love to complain over nothing but please try to be reasonable and stop trying to ruin other people’s business. These are hard-working people!“

“I worked here for 6 months and I can honestly say this has been one of my favorite jobs ever. Most people here are very friendly, although you do get your hangry ones. For those that tip tipped well. I also loved working here because I got to practice speaking spanish to those who didn’t know english. This position is perfect for a summer job or to make some extra money while in school which was my case, although I will say it never hurts to carry some pepper spray or a stun gun with you since your working hours start at 4:30 am.“
