“Midlothian isn't exactly a donut haven, but there is a handful of donut options in town and I happen to think Donut King might be among the best in the vicinity. During my NYC exodus, it was Donut King that provided me sweet sustenance while I waited for the situation to get better. (#1)They offer drive-thru, which is convenient (#2) and utilized often by locals in the area. The selection is simple, with just a handful of donuts, sausage rolls(#3), sandwiches, and drinks. I appreciate the staff was quick in arranging boxes by the dozen and were friendly on top of it.Their regular glazed are excellent. They're airy with just enough bite and perfectly sweet. The eclairs and apple fritters deserve praise and their cake donuts are practically better than the yeast ones. I think their blueberry and cinnamon were near perfect and wonderfully fresh in the morning. The kolaches, in particular the bacon jumbo and ham + cheese are good and I love that they also have breakfast sandwiches as well.They have a credit card minimum for credit cards at $4. Donuts run out all throughout the day, so I would recommend calling ahead of time to confirm donut availability. “I ordered custom donuts through FM 663 donuts for my daughter's birthday. She was having a Harry Potter themed birthday so I was a little stressed that they couldn't meet my requests for Harry Potter themed donuts.. safe to say they absolutely exceeded my expectations! “Donuts are big business in Midlothian and as one of the true local spots in town, these namesake donuts are well established. Despite the corner location within a strip of businesses, Midlothian Donuts is still somewhat easy to miss. They're a tiny establishment, but have lots to offer. For starters, they have a drive-thru. This is most popular during the mornings for folks on the go (#1) but there's also a steady stream of locals dining inside on any given day. The small'ish tables are best suited for solo dining action and is not conducive to large groups. In terms of donuts, there's a good classic mix here. The blueberry cake donut is one of their better ones and the glazed is pretty decent as well. Donut holes aren't too memorable, but they're usually generous enough to sprinkle them throughout each order. They're also a true bakery that goes beyond donuts. They have kolaches (#2), croissants, muffins, sandwiches, breakfast burritos and biscuits. The latter is one of their biggest hits: biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are pillowy soft and the gravy is as savory as it is indulgent. The breakfast sausage sandwich is simple, but good. I still have yet to try their breakfast burritos but that's next on my list. Like most local donut spots, they're closed by noon. “I've been going to this donut shop for almost 15 years now, and let me tell you, those donut holes are perfection! ? In 15 years I have NEVER experienced a hair in my food, or a worker being unsanitary, unkind, or any version of negative. The owners, and the wonderful young girl working there, put all of their love into this community and they are VERY much loved back! ? Any reviews that say otherwise are simply not true. “$24 for 11 donuts and 4 jumbo pigs in a blanket. That’s a reasonable price in my opinion compared to other donut shops in Midlothian. Customer service was kind and quick to get me my order which I appreciate. The donuts were delicious ??I got there around 9:30 am and there was no one in line. I appreciated that considering it’s usually high traffic on the weekends at these places.There were about 3 tables inside for anyone wanting to sit and eat.It’s located next to Fuzzys Taco Shop, but like most donut shops, the sign just reads “Donut” on the outside.“

“Mochinut was a place that was in my list since I had my first mochi donut! I was obsessed and needed to find other places that might have them. I bought three and then tried a mochi ball. The mochi ball was kind of like a cream puff idea. It comes with a different filling based on what you order. I love taro so I got that one and it was so so good! My drink was a taro with boba and it was perfect. It wasn't too sweet and the boba was cooked to perfection. When I was checking out the lady asked me to check the screen and everything looked right. I paid and then waited for my drink probably less than 7 or 8 min. She then gave me my order and I realized I got two drinks. This was my fault since she told me to check and I over saw this error. She refunded me with no problem and then offered me the drink. I said no because obviously I didn't pay for it. But she insisted and it was so sweet of her! The customer service really) pushed it over the edge for me and I'll definitely be back!“

Also, spam musubi... yes please! The last three items I listed are probably my faves. “This place is close to me and so yum! They have a delicious strawberry sprinkles donut that I cannot get enough of! It's buttery and flaky and sooooo yum! they also offer amazing croissant kolaches so good! I really love the chai latte iced or hot! They also have milk substitutes if you need them. “I worked here for 6 months and I can honestly say this has been one of my favorite jobs ever. Most people here are very friendly, although you do get your hangry ones. For those that tip tipped well. I also loved working here because I got to practice speaking spanish to those who didn’t know english. This position is perfect for a summer job or to make some extra money while in school which was my case, although I will say it never hurts to carry some pepper spray or a stun gun with you since your working hours start at 4:30 am.“

“1st time here and they had a long line around 20 people deep and when I left it was just as long. Donuts were delicious and staff was very friendly. Prices were good and had donuts geared towards young kids which was cool. Definitely will be back when in the area.“

“I’ve visited a lot of donut shops in DeSoto (ok, all of them ha), and this one is pretty good. It has a Drive thru window which is so convenient if you don’t want to get the babies out of the car for your donut fix. They don’t make my favorite donuts (that is reserved for the donut shop off Polk/Pleasant Run rd by Chase), but they are pretty good. They have a friendly staff as well, which is essential to set your day off right!“
