“I was coming back from a ride and decided to try this restaurant as it was close to my home and new to me. This was the first time in years that I had had Ethiopian food. I’m telling you it was a great way to return.Their Geba Weta is a great dish. I’m sure all of the others are just as good. I’m going back for one of their lamb dishes, soon. The owners and staff are exceedingly welcoming, the dish I had was great and the atmosphere was inviting. ግሩም“

“I have no idea what these people are talking about with some pretty intense and overblown criticism. I’m not Ethiopian but I’ve been eating this stuff for 12 years now. Regularly. I’ve tried Ethiopian food all over the country and this place deserves its respect. We had the kitfo, beef tibs, and veggie combo dish and I’ll tell you, gooood good. The beef itself melted in your mouth with that buttery marinade. Everything was so good all together. So, please be fair when reviewing this place.“

“Probably the best special kitfo I've ever had.... maybe even perfect. Something about their ayib and choice of ingredients. Maybe even how they arrange the food. Idk, but I do know I had a really good experience and and much better quality food than I was expecting.
This place is a mini mini market / mini restaraunt. Not alot going on inside, I didnt even find a bathroom. Only came for a simple dinner, but due to the size of the place and cozy feel, my dinner turned into an intimate date. Also shout out to the servers for being so chill and just on top of things. We got service and even items brought to us legitimately as we were about to ask for it. Its like the guy was reading my mind... or he has eaten the dish before and knows how delicious they make it.
Either way, id come back and I would recommend this place to others. Just not large parties unless its takeout for a large party.“

“Real deal, delicious Ethiopian food in an authentic environment. We got the veggie combo plate and could not have been happier. Would recommend to anyone coming to Dallas and looking for good Ethiopian food. Couldn't have had a better experience, and the woman cooking and running the place was so nice!“

“Sini Ethiopian Restaurant and Coffee Lounge was excellent. I ordered the goat dish and it was tender, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor, easily one of the best goat plates I’ve had. I paired it with their coffee, which was strong, smooth, and the perfect finish to the meal.
The space felt comfortable and inviting, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. Even just off one visit and one main dish, I’d still highly recommend Sini to anyone in the DFW area looking for quality Ethiopian food and great coffee.“

“Good healthy drinks, but a suggestion...replace lids to a more sealable tamper proof style. To prevent any tampering when ordering from the likes of those delivery apps👍“

“Really delicious Ethiopian food! (We’ve tried many places in DFW and this was by far the tastiest)
The vegetarian combo had 11 different offerings - each unique and savory and complex.
The atmosphere was a bit more karaoke bar than restaurant but who cares when the food is this good.“

“This place is legit a gem. The food is ridiculously delicious. With my favorite Ethiopian spot shutting down last year, I’m so glad I found this place. This is definitely the best Ethiopian spot in Dallas that’s open. One of the best spots for African food. It’s a small mart with only a few tables!
I had the beyaynetu (vegetarian platter) and beef tibbs. The beef tibbs was so flavorful and tasty. The broth/liquid it sits in is amazing. Dipping injera in that was so good. The vegetarian platter was incredible. The different lentils and peas are cooked to perfection with delicious spice.
I also had shiro! It’s not on their display menu but they’ll make it for you. It’s a chickpea stew and great to dip injera in! The Ethiopian coffee was also really good.
Very friendly staff and service. During my meal, different staff members came up to me at different times individually to see how everything was going. I really appreciated that.
Please try this place if you haven’t! It’s proof that Ethiopian cuisine is one of the best cuisines you can experience. I will 100% be returning for a second visit.“

“Overall, amazing food and service. It was my first time here, walked in based on the reviews and it was close to where I was working today. It is a rough part of town so be cautious. A woman greeted me when I entered and did clarify the meat is halal. I ordered beef and 2 added sides of red lentils and cabbage. It ended up being $15 for the beef plus $6 for the 2 sides. Took about 20 minutes to prepare but it was worth it because she made it fresh. Food came out of steaming hot and it was delicious!! There is a small seating area to the side. Will definitely be back. I also saw some packed Ethiopian food in the fridge in to go containers.“
“This was my first time ever eating at a store like this. It’s a very small grocery/ kitchen that cooks authentic Ethiopian food. Spices and scent was really strong but the food I tried was really good. They said it was lamb. This dish normally comes on some kind of bread but because I’m gluten free they were able to accommodate me with rice instead. I just thought $17 bucks was a bit much. But lamb is not a cheap piece of meat so I guess I’ll pay that price because I will be back.“

“Food was delicious. Had the injera with beef. The lentils on the place were my favorite. Having this combination is a mouthful of flavor that you have to try at least one time. It’s a great find here in Murphy and authentic Ethiopian cuisine.“
