Zach truly made the whole evening so enjoyable, from the food/drink recs to his prompt refilling of drinks (I drink water like a horse!), and the wonderful dessert plate especially for my dad. All around a fantastic evening and we cannot wait to come back!“

“This a unique place that's a cross between a neighborhood and dive bar. Big diversity of people but the common denominator is people are respectful and the regulars keep an eye on the place. “The Clifton Club is a great cocktail bar in the Fitzhugh/Travis area. Inside, there are two areas: a more classic bar area and a more laid back lounge area. We were in the lounge area and really enjoyed how laid it back was. The interior inside has a really neat retro yet chic aesthetic that fit in well with the idea behind the bar. We went for happy hour and got a french 75 and dark and stormy. Both cocktails were excellent and the ten dollar price was a plus. Many people around us got food (a lot of great options on the happy hour menu) and it all looked incredible. We enjoyed our time here and plan to come back again. It is also right next to Beverleys which makes it a nice pairing for drinks at the Clifton Club then dinner at Beverleys.“

“Give this place a try if in the area. Truly a gem. They have couches in the theater! the building itself is retro with murals and glass panels with marine life painted/etched on them. They also have a lounge where drinks can be ordered when open. So glad we went here.“

“It's got tiki decorations and yummy drinks, but they're mostly on draft and so it's not really the full tiki bar experience some enthusiasts would maybe expect (certain ingredients, fire, fancy cups, etc). The atmosphere is super cute though, and I was happy with the service. Worth checking out if you're a local or already wandering the truck yard“

“My wife and I came here around 12:30a today and the experience sucked compared to 5 star experience we had last time. I had to track down someone to take my order. Eventually, our waitress came to us and we placed orders for a frozen sangria, ranchero pizza, and nachos. We moved from inside to the outdoor seating because it was a bit chilly inside. The food came quickly. The ranchero pizza was good if give it a 4/5. It had a good robust flavor. The nachos was just okay, the queso was cold and the steak toppings lacked flavor. The frozen sangria was just okay as well, because it had an unpleasant aftertaste. However, the night went downhill for us, and everyone who was eating outside when the roaches came, literally. At one table the roach flew over a woman's head. A roach crawled on the ground near us. We couldn't finish eating after that and went inside to find the waitress who was talking to customers and vaping. I have to mention that a few people outside were smoking. In Plano this is against the city ordinance. Our waitress seemed oblivious that everyone that was outside can't inside and seemingly everyone left after that. I brought you that roaches were swarming and going over people's and cratering by our feet and she attributed it to the weather. I've eaten outside before and never had to deal with roaches. I paid and left. The busser was very attentive and helpful however shout out to him. I would have included pictures of the roaches but I was busy dodging them.“

Our family of ten were seated in the back (outdoor but inside) and we were treated as very special people, and the service by Luke was extraordinary. The food was wonderful....plates were empty. And the bread and butter...I am embarrassed by the amount we ate . Birthdays usually have cake, and we were surprised with olive oil cake for our table. YUM!
