“I’m from San Diego and I drive all the way from Denton to come down here to get my tacos my Carne side of burrito roll tacos, Carne Asada fries to help bring back those memories of San Diego Mexican food from the West Coast. The food is so good here the manager he’s a real nice guy, ladies, all worked very nice and the staff never made a mistake on my food. The food is always good. I’ve been coming here for many years.“

“Today we visited TacoVida for the first time. For starters, the charro beans were extremely flavorful and plentiful. Next, I bit into the birria taco which was a masterpiece of tender, marinated meat wrapped in homemade tortillas and cooked to perfection. The meal came with the usual onion and cilantro garnish (very fresh and not wilted). The staff was friendly and accommodating (we have a five year old son) and I am happy to say TacoVida will be a new weekly Hotspot for me and my family.“

“Rusty Taco is one of our favorites for date night. Super friendly staff and great food. Plus you get a punch card for free tacos. The menu is wide so there is something for everyone. Breakfast to Philly steak to fish and everything in between. They also have the juiciest limes ever. There limes are the juiciest, but lately they have been a bit dry, it’s okay though things happen.“

“I do recommend JJ's the food is tasty but....I walked in on a friday after work around 3:30..I always sit at the bar I was shocked to see the whole bar area was dirty and the floor was sticky! I'm a regular at this location on Tarrant Parkway and have always enjoyed the food and the margaritas....I almost turned around and walked out so disappointed! oh, one other thing, when I order food I always have to ask for silverware! I myself have worked in the food industry years ago, I do know the dirty dishes should be picked up when customers are done eating, this helps to keep the area clean even if you are busy which in this case the bar wouldn't be full of dirty dishes and I'm not exaggerating...it was the whole bar area!“

The tacos have a rich flavor and a good portion of meat.
the kids menu. It is also a very good size.

The tortilla chips are on the side of the cocas and you stop to serve them and eat them with their 3 sauces. that taste super delicious.

I recommend the restaurant. super friendly staff. the chef came and handed me my last taquito. 🫶🏻 Thank you!!

A little spicy for me but if you’re like me and like more mild sauce I recommend eating it slower and taking sips of water. Highly recommend this place and hope to try other food on the menu.“

During peak hours, service is always determined to make its way out the kitchen to your table in a timely manner. It is worth the wait to say the least!

Be sure to try all of the salsa. They might be hot, but worth the try.

The restrooms are quite small, but cleaned and stocked.

The horchata is my FAVOURITE ? Must try!

“Fajita steak shish ka bobs!!! Do I need to say more? The location I went only had 5 cars in the parking lot when I showed up. On a SATURDAY night.... had me slightly suspect... but I checked the reviews and it had 4 stars so I had to try it. I wanted something I hadn't had at other Mexican restaurants in my state, so I tried the Steak Shish ka bobs. Whew!!! They were REALLY REALLY good!!! Such a nice variation from the typical. “This is a small taco truck which serves good Mexican food. We come occasionally even though it is out of the way - it is that good! They take orders in person or over the phone. 4 of us went and ordered 7 gorditas (4 rajas & 3 tripe) and a bean & cheese burrito, we did not order drinks and the total was about $38. The staff is efficient and got our order out in a timely manner (about 10min). I did not get to take pictures since the food was gone that fast!
