“Stopped by with my dad after a Dr appointment wanting to try something new and this small establishment caught my eye. You have to walk up and order your food like a Whataburger or Dairy Queen and then they bring it to your table. My dad loved his burger and my chicken plate was seasoned like I would have cooked it at home. As another review stated a more friendly staff that perhaps welcomed you when you arrived or smiled some to make you feel welcomed would be the only improvement they could make. They had multiple TVs in the small eating area but none of them were on. Also everything was clean when I went including the restroom so bonus points for that. I will definitely stop by next time I am passing through to try their chicken kebabs.“

“I really like the atmosphere, good coffee, and nice interior. This is a good place to study or chill with friends. The foods were all tasty and worthwhile. If you’re up for a fresh place with beautiful architecture then this is a must to visit.“

“I go to this stop almost every time after class at UH and I’m always satisfied!
The food is great and the staff, including Sarah at the counter, always smile and seem to have a good time themselves. I usually get the Gyro fries with lamb and red/white sauce plus feta cheese.
Come see them!“

“We happen to come across Abu Omar Halal today while in Baton Rouge, Louisiana & they definitely caught our eye…. We just had to stop and try it! 🥳 Let’s just say it was soooo worth it, They have the best version of chicken shawarma I’ve ever had. I ate every last bite before leaving the parking lot. ❤️ We got the Chicken Shawarma Arabi along with a side of spicy garlic sauce! The spicy garlic sauce is a MUST TRY!“

“Give this place a shot! Sign outside is for Yemen Fusion, but it's the right place. Quiet at 3:30 on a Friday, but very nice. The restaurant is pretty. The service was prompt and courteous.The food was fabulous!My tabouleh salad was delicious. The falafel was good.My friend ordered a chicken rice and potato dish that was amazing. The portion was generous too.

“My sister was in town so I took her to Gyro in sugarland. We tried a little of everything including desserts. Manager Shae was a big help! Everything was fresh and tasty! My sister can’t wait to come back! I will b back Saturday!“

“My girl Glory!!! I love her!! She greets me with a smile every time! I was having a bad day one day and she made it better just with her customer service alone! She always recommends new things for me to try and always listens to my needs and wants and makes my bowl great every time!! I love this location because I’m always greeted with a smile! No matter who it is! You guys keep up with the great work yall put in! I know the food service industry isn’t the best when it comes to us customers coming in, but you all handle it with such grace and respect. I always come back gorgeous more!!
