Wife loved the sandwich. Wings were well above average meat amount per wing and tasty. My wife is a pickle chip connoisseur and these were hands down her favorite of ALL TIME. Thicker chips than most places too. Most pickle chips end up soggy through the batter and fry process. These were the rare ones that stayed crisp and full of batter through the meal. Seasoning on fries was not to my taste but my wife loved them and took my extras. I'll just ask for plain next time as they otherwise were very thick crinkle fries and looked good. Highly recommend. “After seeing other reviews and recommendations for the fried fish, we had to give this place a try. It's a typical counter service style restaurant. I ordered the 2 piece fish combo. The fish was fried fresh and steaming hot when served. Crinkle cut fries were crispy, fresh and had some incredible seasoning on sprinkled on top. They make their own tarter sauce too. It's Ike no other and almost addictive. Now back to the fish. The combo came with 2 large filets. They were fried perfectly. Crispy and golden on the outside and fully cooked but not overly done on the inside. Fish was seasoned well and tasted great! They forgot to put hushpuppies on out plates. No big deal because we still had plenty of food to eat.“

The location looked rough. It was located in a small shopping strip within a larger shopping strip. I walked in and was greeted right away. It was spectacular in there! It was clean and colorful inside, including the kitchen! My order was ready and came in sturdy boxes. The Boneless Wings and Queso Sticks came with Ranch at no charge. The Tajin Wings (.75 on Wednesdays) were tinder, fresh and flavorful. They came with mild sauce and a tiny bottle of Tajin to sprinkle on your wings. The Queso Sticks($4.99) were crispy with just the right amount of crispiness. I see the other reviews but I didn’t have any problems. I was greeted when I approached the register. The cashier double verified with me all the toppings I wanted on my Philly. They brought my food out to me (maybe 5-10 minutes later). My sandwich was smoking hot with the cheese nice and melted. The 4 stars is only because nothing just wowed me over the top.
